http://www.gobankingrates.com/credit-card-rates/new-finance-technology-changing-spend/

The article more or less says it all Grin

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. Header-only clients like MultiBit trust that the majority of mining power is honest for the purposes of enforcing network rules such as the 21 million BTC limit. Full clients do not trust miners in this way.

Well then this forum is at least twice as decent  Cheesy

still   Undecided

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they keep laughing, then they start choking on their laughter, and then they go and catch their breath. Then they start laughing even more.

from the article:
"However, because Bitcoin transfers are anonymous and untraceable, its use has also been associated with illegal and black market activities. Whether Bitcoin can function as a viable currency for consumers remains to be seen."

How is this good press?

For now.  If the trend (which looks strikingly like bitcoin price) continues it won't be long until this forum is less relevant than that unknown site.

"gobankingrates.com" isn't "press".  It's a scraper site for a lead generation service.

Cool Grin

Isn't that potentially more interesting though than just press as that could mean it looks like we're being assessed/ looked into as a potential investment target?

Yeah and if pigs had wings they could fly, but it's irrelevant.
