Well most of us here are already aware of the hacking activities of binance and bancor.They are taking practical measures to track down the culprits but the question on my mind is why could coincidentally both exchanges be hacked?Now it appears that the exchanges are not moving at a faster and innovative ways to upgrading their systems and allow these hackers time to study their systems well,identify the loop holes and cause the problem.In my opinion, exchanges should always move in an unpredictable way so as to always confuse these scammers .The scammers are scaring new investors away and this must stop.Exchanges must be up and doing so that we can attract new investors into cryptocurrency else our efforts are going in vain to attracting new investors.

There are a lot of hackers here in crypto world, that is why you need to be smart for you not to get hacked by them. A lot of people who have used cryptocurrency had been experienced to be hacked many times and it is horrible. So exchanges should be more secure and be more aware by hackers.

Since it is not easy to be got caught for hackers, they are comfortable when they sitting on front of their computers and their activities are increasing day by day. It's given that with the amount of money coming in to exchanges, they're prone to attempts from hackers. I think most of these exchanges do have a decent security protocol and it just so happens that there will be better hackers every now and then. It can't be helped since anything online can be compromised.

Well they do anything just to get money from others because they're really greedy. Hackers are become more smarter but since the cryptocurrency have a good blockchain technology they not cannot easily hacked  the system of crypto. The best thing we can do is we must have a not easy to guess password and also its better if we are the only can know our own password and don't share to anyone.

of course they are always there with the hope that there are people who are careless or new bitcoiners, so they fall into their trap. besides that they are always looking for loopholes to break into exchangers, like what happened yesterday

Most of these "hacks" are inside jobs.  They come up with excuses so they can easily run away with users' money.  I've seen it time after time and it looks like this will never stop as long as there are greedy people in this world.

well, i guess it might be easier to find a gap than build it. however, these two things have very high IQs. well, even every day, their knowledge increases because they are looking for gaps and building defenses.

There is this trend going on these days that the hackers are hired by the companies and are paid in millions because they hack their websites, finds flaws in it and then the company improve and get rid of those bugs so this is another legal way to make money.

With the biggest exchanges in canada and australia being compromised I lost almost all of my confidence that the exchanges are winning the battle over hackers...it looks quite the contradinary.

Are there exchanges that over to store the coins in your own wallet? I know Davinci is developing a wallet called Pandora where you can store the coins locally and still trade.

But he is just a single freelance developer and I am afraid this is to big for one person to acomplish...

Hackers have huge bounty for their work to outsmart exchanges, so exchanges will be always on attack. Exchanges needs to improve their security, but we need to move our bags from exchanges anyway.
