Doubt that will happen. Gox has the oldest chart history, and is useful for traders to look at what happened in 2011/2012, which is missing from most other exchanges. |

or Naive or lack information. Not everyone is educated in the world of crypto, and mtgox seems like a trustworthy site to them due to its long history. |

But everyone seems to be sure that mtgox will stop existing and everyone will loose their bitcoins there!
They are not a ananymous company their Ceo and managers will go to jail if they still bitcoins!
So i think they have to work on a solution that everyone will/can get their bitcoins back!
I know it can be really stressfull for persons with a lot of bitcoins in mtgox in this moment!
But if i had some money there i would defently buy!

They were one of the first and most used exchanges, simple as that. They were also the highest quoted price generally, and the news agencies love quoting higher prices with higher fluctuations, makes better "news". |

You can't change just in a moment takes time. They have the volume also. I prefer to use avg. price of all the big exchanges, if you want better localbitcoin always has high prices.

Only one exchange will verify me (others don't want to verify my address), kraken, so I only look at the price there. Far less drama than elsewhere.
