Emphasis on the word players.

You play a game, you've got to lose one way or other, eventually.

But if you're just in this for the experiment that it is, if you're using Bitcoin because you believe in it, then you've really got not much to lose - you'll always have your Bitcoin to spend, it's always going to be around for using, and there's always someone willing to accept it.

But if you're "into BTC" because you want to play the money game, be prepared to lose. Simple as that.

Bankruptcy can still be prevented if you can control your emotions well. Bankruptcy happens because the panic happens at the time of crash quickly and you can not control emotions well. If it can be controlled properly, then I'm sure you will avoid bankruptcy.

Trading seems to give people an illusion that they can control things. If you're trading, you can prevent bankruptcy, for sure, but you can't control your emotions when the market's crashing all around you (or booming all around you). That's just marketing talk.

Bankruptcy always happen when you spend most of your money in bad things and if your greed takes over you. This is what happen when you have enough profit to use for your gambling addiction. Yes, every time the market dumps, a lot of people exit in the market and guess what, most of them spend their money in to not important things and when the time market recover, they don’t have money to invest now. Bankruptcy is a result of a bad decisions.

I would say that those who jumped on the bandwagon back in the winter when it was over 15k may have gotten hurt, but not bankrupt. That's what happens when you run into a burning building. The trend was already bending to near maximum peaks but sometimes people make decisions based on emotions while investing and get into a trade before carefully and rationally analyzing it. I've done it myself enough times to recognize it.

Also, there have been people getting hurt because of exchange hacks, but that's about all that comes to my mind. Bankrupt? Please tell us more.

People rush to earn big and to multiply their money so when they see a project with good offer, they tend to grab it with all the money they have in order to have it back in five fold and more but they were scammed, this is the common reason why they do go bankruptcy

Without certain experience, Trading and Hodling are risky. The most acceptable method of investing at the moment is ICO. For a more successful contribution, you need to carefully analyze the project. Identify is necessary for the market side. For example, the Kelvin Blockchain project has an innovative method of encryption, transmission, storage, and security. All this is based on quantum computing. Thus becoming in demand in the future. With the coming quantum technologies, the current market must experience many changes. To be more exact, many coins will leave the market, as there will simply be no demand for them, due to the same technological superiority. I managed to participate in several ICO, some I earned quite well, I can say with certainty, for a good project, it must have potential for the future, that it will be needed in five years. Unfortunately most projects do not have this potential. I was lucky and I came across a project focused on protecting against hacking quantum processors, and to maximize the use of all the advantages of new technologies, project Kelvin Blockchain, you need at least to consider, because not every day there is such a good option for investing money.
Kelvin Blockchain project itself is flexible to implementing cryptographic algorithms which will make it one of the safest blockchains ever existed with 10+ signature available from the start. This project does not rely on any particular signature algorithm and due to the multi-client use - on some single consensus. In case of any problems, it is possible to quickly locate the threat and prevent it’s distribution throughout the system. Multiple blockchains with different consensus algorithms, token types, and assignments will be available. The multichain technology allows creating almost an unlimited potential for speed and productivity. Kelvin Blockchain can launch up to 2^64 subchains - more available subchains will benefit in increased speed and security. Moreover, all the blockchains will be processed in one wallet so that the client could have fast transactions, secure investments and cheap smart contracts as well as a lot of other services at his hand.

I think it depends on each new investor.
Everyone knows that the golden rule in electronic money is not to invest money if not, which will put you in a difficult situation and the time is respected, the problem of bankruptcy does not arise.
When the tips on how you will not go bankrupt, do not invest all your money because let's say it will multiply your money.
Then greed appears and what to do is sober before every decision you make will never go bankrupt. Smiley

Logically this year was the best period to get profit, nothing to talk abojt bankrupt. Bitcoin reached 20K USD in winter, I highly believe some traders spent most of their bitcoins this time. Anyonr had to be crazy to buy bitcoins on 20K for holding and hope of future rise or big profit at that time. Then as we see price felt and felt, so currently is a goos time to buy some bitcoins and as I talked previously, this year was great for profit.

Many forex traders have gone bankrupt. Many businesses has failed, I don't get think that under rides the potential in those ventures.
The risks of losing out is high in crypto, so also are the possibilities of making good returns.

Because most of those crypto investors doesn't know where to invest there money and many of those investors are mostly newbies that's why they get scam by shitcoins and ICO expecting for immediate gains only to find out that their money will go to waste in those unknown altcoins with no ceo, no good team of dev, no roadmap and not marketable.
We all know that there are too many people investing in this market, definitely we can see many people get success, it's pretty normal. Alongaside many people get failed, face with bankrupt and be in deep debt. Often, as my observation, almost many people went bankrupt mostly because of lacking knowledge and don’t have preparation before joining the market. Besides some people are greedy, they don’t have a deep analyst but use all money for it, then afterwards they failed.

The crypto insolvency? They only really go bankrupt when they participate in MLM or ponzi models. This environment is dangerous. You can lose money at any time, I acknowledge that. But bankruptcy is only possible when involved in coinlending or ponzi.

The movement of the crypto market is always faster than any currency. Of course, the moment to seize the opportunity to buy when appropriate is not much. When hesitation takes over your mind. It has passed. I suffered a loss in trading but I did not give up and I never gave up on it.

You’re saying this without telling us who exactly went bankrupt while trading on cryptocurrencies, was it you or someone you know? I do know that when people are winning in this that there will also be people losing, it happens everywhere even in forex trading and any other kind of investment that is similar to this.

But anyone that allows himself to go bankrupt just like really have a serious problem. If you want to make investment invest with any money that you can afford to lose in case that does happens.

Another FUD that I've heard today though this has been posted days ago.

Many crypto players have gone bankrupt? that's nut then show us those people who have gone bankrupt by investing to cryptocurrencies. The story looks one sided and you're looking at the side that's not really existing. Many crypto investors became rich and that's the real story.

May be its because of previous huge drop of bitcoin where most of the investors are focusing their investment capital in bitcoin alone because they are hoping for a bitcoin to reached $50000 but sad to say that it accidentally drops to $7000 from a previous price high of almost $20000.

The people going bankrupt in this game is the people who are investing money from debt/loans/credit cards into Crypto currencies. You cannot fund Crypto currency investments with debt, because it is a long-term investment and you have to repay that debt monthly. So if you not making a profit every month, you then have to pay that debt out of your own pocket.  Roll Eyes

These guys cannot hold onto their investment for a long time and they start losing money, so they sell prematurely and mostly at a lower price than what they bought it at. That is where people are making their mistakes.  Sad

Many of the people said that even those people who didn't bankrupt say that it is their strategy to survive some of them saying that because they have big money. Some of it are truth but they always comeback in the using of cryptocurrency. They are not quitting they are just resting Smiley
