Go and have a look at some prediction threads from 2012 and 2013. They are all totally way off the mark. Don't even bother trying to predict it.

It is still a new technology and if it can stabilize around the current ATH that bodes well.

I guess that's impossible. Though it's a volatile currency and nobody can make any forecast but based on it's history and the situation now I can probably tell that it's reputation thanks to MtGOx was undermined and that's why it won't reach 5000$ by the end of the year

today 400-500+ price u saw is the lowest for this year unless.. there is another exchange like mtgox.. but apparently only mtgox at this moment..

Do you know the guys which are operating BTC-e ?
GOX was very bad, but BTC-e is on the same level.
Bitstamp is one step above, but they lost a few % of their BTC stash because of the malability "bug".
I'm still optimistic for btc, but I will buy more coins soon. They will get a lot cheaper. Selling is not an option.

I don't think Bitcoin will stabilize until we reach full saturation in the market, which means it will be several years and probably hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of growth before we get there. Although Bitcoin should not be treated like a stock, in many ways it does have some similarities. Like any stock there is a period of growth where the price increases substantially until it eventually levels out. Then there will still be ups and downs but for the most part it will be stable. |

People that don't love gambling with their money think that bitcoin is to much of a gamble. Every currency needs stable rate as possible. And bitcoin is one ! I am not arguing this with u.
