I quite agree with you, investing in altcoins mostly for small investors gives more profit, because bitcoin is already in price and it is hard for small investors to afford 1 btc, but investing in altcoin and having patience with it, will give u much return

You need suggestion Then I think your post heading wasn't appropriate. You should put a question mark on that  Investment in Altcoin is profitable than bitcoin. Sometimes it is trued and sometimes it is not. But I really love to invest and trade with altcoins. Because bitcoin is the only one option but if you choose altcoin then you have more than 100 options to use. Personally, I like to trade altcoin to make bitcoin. You may follow my way. If you want to invest in Altcoin then you must choose good coins like EOS, NEO, ADA, Steller, XRP, MTC, OMX, BNB and of course ETH and BTC too. Good Luck |

It's just the same lol, you see the market when bitcoin moving altcoin moves, whether it's pump or dump altcoin will always follow bitcoin, the condition is quite different to back then when altcoin still have a little bit independency toward bitcoin but now, all of them are following bitcoins price movement, nothing more.

Bitcoin has proven his capacity to make people earn profits. Pessimists says that now, bitcoin is from the past and wont increase per thousands of percents as he did...
... but they already said the same when bitcoin hit $1, $10, $100 and $ 1000... so: who knows?
For short term trades, if you are wise enough when chosing your alts, you can earn more with them than with bitcoin, while for long term investment the best option is bitcoin (in my opinion).

At this point, I believe they actually do. Bitcoin has just reached a price point wherein profitability may not come easy for small traders like myself. Even a double profit is now hard to come by with Bitcoin than it was about a year ago. As for altcoins, profit is much more flexible because there are a lot of undervalued coins in the market that can multiply our investment to much greater heights. I think this is the advantage altcoins have over Bitcoin at this time.

If you like to take a little bit more risk for a chance of making more money than invest in altcoin. If you want to safely invest in crypto than only invest in bitcoin or other large cap coins. If you don't want to take risk at all than just keep your fiat and wait for another blood-bath in cryptocoins. |

The way how market price is going, I started to take bitcoin out of the picture and started to divert my attention to altcoins. A lot of promising coins are now in the market which cost a few but with a better chance to grow in the future. I've been searching what are these possible coins and if I find one or more then I would invest into it hoping for a better returns someday.

No it’s not possible. Because bitcoin is more profitable than altcoins and other coins also. So anyone can invest on bitcoin. Bitcoins price gradually increasing. That’s why it is the best time for investing on bitcoin.

Yes, I agree with your statement and I have personal experience with this statement. Actually now you can expect bigger returns in Bitcoin-like x10 times or x20 times return from your investment. whereas Altcoins can give you returns like this from good potential coin something like i have experience with Neocoin few years back where i got almost x10 times to return from the investment in Neocoin. But yes i also agree that in today's market conditions there are very less number of coins with good potential. |

Both of them are great cryptocurrency to invest on. Both altcoin and bitcoin has great future a head. You will be profitted if you invest any of them.But one thing you need must to invest there is that patient because most of the time the price of it gets pump and dump.

you better invest 50% for bitcoin and 50% for altcoin, so you get 2 benefits to get profit. altcoin for short term while bitcoin for long term. You need to hold the coin until you get a profit

altcoin and bitcoin both are very trustable to the investors cause they both have good position in the market but this place is not stable prices keep changing here all the time so which one will be more profitable for investing it is hard to suggest, if you analyzed the market then you can have the correct answer.

Investment in altcoins is more risky. Some of them can lose 30-50% of worth in one day. When BTC is going down, alts are going crazy... Try to invest in more stable coins like ETH, BTC.

Big amount of capital I suggest for bitcoin. But low amount of capital then better invest on altcoin. Altcoin is good investment but not all altcoin. Its something special or good altcoin. Such as Ethereum, Ripple, TRX, ADA, EOS and NEO also. Be careful of choosing an altcoin. |

It depends while risk is also high in altcoins, i have seen some alts loosing multifold in value over short period of time while btc is solid coin and most people think that it has bottomed out and net long term bull target for this year is over $60k for btc, if it really happens, i will be really happy to say the least.
