Hello everyone

CACHeCoin has been out for quite sometime and been proven on the rise in the last weeks.

Currently 1CACHe is Trading at around 0.002BTC 0.0078 BTC (check https://poloniex.com/exchange?currencyPair=BTC_CACH )
and the prices are about to rise even further - Jasinlee has backed the currency and will support it for buying fibonacci inc asic miner

More Information on CACHeCoin can be found in the official thread here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=400389.0

I've been active in the CACHeCoin community for quite some time - providing explorer.cachecoin.org and stats.cachecoin.org services

The next step for me was to provide easier ways for people to mine CACHeCoin, so I opened up another p2pool node for you guys to mine

Pool Information
  • 1% p2pool node fees
    PPLNS payout with vardiff
Direct payouts to your wallet without being hold by any insecure pool wallet

IMPORTANT NOTICE
You need a different miner for mining cachecoin - source for linux can be found here:
https://github.com/Sykh/cacheminer

P2Pool
http://cache.cryptoprojects.eu:8336/static/

Code:
./yacminer http://cache.cryptoprojects.eu:8336 -u YOU_CACHECOIN_ADDRESS -p anypassword

Difficulty
If you wish to manually control your pseudo-share difficulty outside of the range provided by the dynamic system you can do the following:

Code:
CACHeCoin Address+0.00000116 x Hash Rate in KHash

For example for an R9 280x use this settings
Code:
500 x 0.00000116 = 0.000232
CY3FvSDUDAH6mbJvMPs7D9H6eWdkdcgywd+0.00058207

The following are suggested targets for various hash rates if you want to grab one quickly:

Code:
KHash/s	Difficulty
50 +0.00005821
100 +0.00011641
250 +0.00029103
500 +0.00058207
750 +0.00087310
1000 +0.00116414

Please note
  • P2Pool payments can take up to 24 hours to ramp up after you start mining, please wait this long before seeking assistance
Payouts require that you solve at least one share of difficulty greater than the P2Pool share target per day.
Decreasing intensity can help your stale rates massively, and will improve your payouts in most cases.
You will notice an increased stale rate in your miner compared to a traditional pool, this is normal and expected behaviour for P2Pool (~5-10%)

Happy Mining!

Thanks to vertoe for providing these pool informations!

Currently 1CACHe is Trading at around 0.02BTC (check https://poloniex.com/exchange?currencyPair=BTC_CACH )

It is only 0.0023 BTC, I guess you forgot to add one zero after the decimal dot. While 0.02 BTC per CACH would be nice, I highly doubt the price will go over 0.01 BTC per CACH in short term and if too many people will start mining and at the same time dumping, then the price may even go slightly under 0.002.

I highly doubt that would happen, Cach is really hard to mine...

Just a quick note - http://cache.cryptoprojects.eu:8336 has been updated to latest wallet version and p2pool has been upgraded to accompany the version bump as well!

Join p2p and distribute your hashrate!

To raise some more awareness for p2p I ask you guys to either join my node that I advertise over here or choose any node from http://q30.qhor.net:8337/

Registrations on cach.catcoin.cz are closed for now and will stay until the hashrate is more evenly distributed amongst the CACHeCoin network. So please consider joining p2p

PS: Last trades are at 0.0078 per CACHeCoin - get it while is really hot!
PPS: Rumors say its going way above 0.01 !!!

well - the minimum price it will have for now is 0.01 (jasin backed it up see: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=2702.msg126047#msg126047 )

For lazy ones: starting with their asic preorder they will accept it at 0.01 BTC - but will move the price according to demand...

So there wont be enough cache till the preorder starts - the price might even go higher.. but I am just saying its rumors. No wolong who is dumping coins, stating facts and hearing rumors

Speaking about wolong, have you seen this about vertcoin?

Anyway he does the same with cach?

I actually dont follow wolong - and for DOGE i even care less - VTC is a nice coin, it has a strong community and it has a good idea. It can be a strong rival to CACHe - but for now CACHe has a unique point of interest - an entity backing up its price to atleast 0.01BTC/CACHe for tangible goods.

So the coin has a value besides the speculation a lot of people do with coins ....CACHe has a set value. Actually this is the first time any Crypto has has an entity backing its value which is amazing news for me!

If he does not have CACH, he can't do it, at least not easily. To do a massive dump, he needs to buy first quite some amount .... driving the price up. No coin is immune to people trying to speculate and manipulate the prices, so unless he has some huge cach reserves already, he has the same chance of doing wrong as with any other coin with similar market cap and volume.

True story - since I've spent a lot of time going through the blockchain while programing stats.cachecoin.org and bringing the explorer up to speed I can say that it is quite hard for someone who has not already mined or bought a great share to bring the coin down right now.

But its just estimated - you never know what happens - right now 90BTC will bring you to dominate the market (for now) - well see what happens in the next days.
BTW mining is still most profitable coin right now - 1 mh earns you around 5 CACHe per day and at current market price roughly 0.03BTC/Mhash ;-)

Heh, just look at http://leaserig.net/index.jsp?t=2 - ALL scrypt-jane rigs rented, and there is demand for more ... StartT 1388949883, looks familiar? Smiley

I mean its okay to rent a rig to have more hashrate - but seriously on the verge of risking the whole network for 3-5 dollars more per day?

This just saddens me, because I am confronted again with the fact, that in this world people do care less and less about the community and more and more about their own pockets.

If you ask me why there is a 1% fee on the small p2pool-node of mine - it pays for the server. The server hosts explorer.cachecoin.org and stats.cachecoin.org - and thus the fee is paying for rental so the services can and will stay up on a fast and strong machine ;-)

Just a quick reminder - the nFactor will increase tomorrow Sun 22.2 - better start mining now before the hashrate drops ;-)

No need to panic Smiley

The nFactor will increase for everybody, so as all hashrates will drop, percentage of your hashrate to network hashrate would be approximately ... similar. CPU's hashrate will drop slightly less than good GPU's and those will drop slightly less than bad GPU's, but there won't be any "revolution" - just a small evolution.

Just a reminder for anyone mining on p2pool - adjust your miner settings accordingly to the new nFactor.

This morning I head to decrease the intensity on my 280x cards from 13 to 12 in order to have less hardware errors. With hardware errors my hashrate at the pool dropped to around 300kh/s in total.
After adjusting and running without constant hardware errors I am back to the expected hashrate of 300kh/s per card - in total around 1.2 mh per rig for the current nFactor
