It could be. In the summer of 2017 bitcoin was worth 2500-3000 $ and in the winter the price has skyrocketed. It is likely a repetition of the scenario. Now bitcoin is 2 times more expensive than a year ago. But while everyone is waiting for a huge growth it will not)

I'm optimistic about that prediction but all calculations depend on the trends of the price movements, so latest decline should also be considered and we should update the end of the year prediction to a lower price.

I do not think that. I believe that in the last months of 2018 Bitcoin could be worth $ 25k. The economic crisis in the world is making many rich people want to find a new investment channel and Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is a very good choice, I really hope on that.
