"I wanted to make a post today to make some things clear about the infinitecoin.org website.
The person controlling it, Xianglong He, also known as Heju22 on the bitcointalk.org forums was for a short period of time active in the Infinitecoin community, but has long since abandoned any kind of participation with the development team. He has been refusing communication for months even after at one point offering it for sale so we could represent IFC more professionally, by using the known default TLD for most coins. He represents himself as the “official” Infinitecoin page and is collecting donations under false pretenses. He does a poor job updating material on his site which is also poorly designed. He also controls the”infinitecoin” twitter handle which he barely updates. His negligence and our lack of control of the .org site is a constant source of frustration and difficulty among our user base.

THIS USER HAS ABSOLUTELY NO AFFILIATION WITH THE INFINITECOIN DEVELOPMENT TEAM. HE IS MISREPRESENTING HIMSELF TO COLLECT DONATIONS UNDER FALSE PRETENSES. DO NOT DONATE TO THIS EXTORTIONIST.

Fraudulent sites claiming to be official run by this person.
THE DEVELOPMENT TEAM HAS NO AFFILIATION
WITH THE FOLLOWING FRAUDULENT SITES:

http://infinitecoin.org/
http://infinite-coin.org/
http://infinitecoin.wordpress.com/

He uses the following addresses for donations DO NOT SEND IFC

We are spending thousands of dollars and many many hours of work to develop Infinitecoin. This is down right fraud that he claims to be working with us and collecting donations for a poorly designed site he does not update regularly, while also stealing content, videos, and graphics we paid for, or worked very hard to produce.

Please spread the word to people that www.infinitecoin.com is THE official Infinitecoin site run by the ACTUAL DEVELOPERS, and .org is run by a cyber-squatter extortionist.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.
