Hello All,

I wanted to make you aware of a scammer who has gotten many people on the forum with his mintcoin bullshit.  I can provide all logs and emails for proof.  We setup a transaction to buy mint, he claimed that his rig died and he needed money so he was trying to liquidate coins.  We sent me a IRC room to discuss, I sent him reference to my ebay account.  He wanted me to send half of the money first then, he would send me all the coins and then I would send the rest of them.  Well I sent the paypal and I noticed that it showed as unclaimed, I had never seen this before.  We went back and forth and he sent me "screenshots", I got really suspicious and was about to click cancel.  He then leaves the IRC room, and accepts my money.  Of course my dumbass sent him the payment as family so he wouldn't pay "taxes".  As soon as he left a few minutes later I get a email saying, chat crashed, sending email.  I sent him several followup emails in rage knowing I got scammed out of $200.

The little *****er then has the balls to send me a PM several minutes later and posts on the mint thread saying his email was hacked.  Member  ddvcrypto  got scammed as well as others.

"Hi, I just woke up. I saw like 50 mails in my inbox and everything was PM's. Somebody hacked me and scammed like four people... FUCK. So so sorry. Really, I'm so sorry..."
"Mate, I cannot because I don't have your BTC. I have 1.47 million MINT and that's it. Don't threaten me since I haven't done shit."
"Hey mate, how's it going? Can you revert the transaction and get the money back?"

So to recap this dumbshit, he claims that his bitcointalk account was hacked, his personal email account was hacked AND his Paypal was hacked.  Then he has the balls to reply to my PM within 30 minutes of scamming me to say he was hacked.

It was my first transaction attempting to buy any sort of coins and will certainly be my last with individuals if this is what the community is made up of.  I used to deal with high end sports cards and I know the level of scumbags of people this age who were in the hobby and probably are the same kind of individuals in some crypto mining.  Be on the lookout for him popping up as a alias.  After I called him out on his total bullshit explanation for being hacked he stopped responding and hasn't posted yet.  I'm sure he has another account and is trying to pull the same shit, I hope what comes around goes around.

My BTCtalk account was hacked, my mail and my paypal account was untouched. Probably the scammer used HIS OWN e-mail and his OWN paypal.

And I've replied to you, I've said I'm sorry that it happened to you. But it's not my fault.
I've posted a lot and I've tried to message you, but you won't reply. I even offered you some MINT as some comfort.
But you're more interested in lying than in listening to me I guess.

Never buy coins VIA paypal btw.
