can we make one more section of merit giving thread

This is my suggestion based on my understanding......

I have seen, there are a lot of members, who have been created the thread, which is related to merit giving like [url https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3048258.0]  (list of such type of threads)
 
These types of threads are very useful to all of us especially of jr.member, member,  full member and other members also for gaining the merits.

But there is difficulty in searching for them. So can we make one more section dedicated to them only? So it is very easy for all all of us.

I don't see the forum creating a special board solely for the purpose of Merit Giveaway Post Review threads. Users are fine to create a thread and maintain/advertise it as they see fit. There have been a few that are successful, or where but they seem to be dying out.

So it is very easy for all of us.

The idea of the system is not to make it "easy" for all of us. You need to be able to create decent content, and then if someone likes what you are putting out there you might see some Merit. This way we can raise the quality of information here.

Edit: I reviewed some of your posts, and I'm glad to see it's not filled with airdrop bounties, but does seem to be heavily focused on Merit. Try taking a step back and just focus on post quality and I'm sure you'll get some more down the road.

To be honest, I don't think it can works. Probably it will become a spam-fest-crying for merits-board.

If you read most of the topics giving-away merits, mostly all the participants don't even bother in reading the thread rules; also, I've seen how many even copy-paste whatever they consider hoping to get some merits in return.

It is not bad for these threads to be difficult to find. Maybe the effort they have to make to find them is, in fact, good.

there are also other threads like puzzle solving, A Simple Bitcoin Q&A, Joe's Signatureless Challenge: Win $25 ($10 for 2nd) + 8 Merits every week! etc.

these types of threads should reach to the maximum no. of member for best utilization.

OK - I'm going to go out on a limb here. I don't think those threads should be allowed.

Running soup kitchens in a country is a sign of a failed employment structure, or a lazy nation. It is far better to   improve the economy so that soup kitchens are redundant. Giving merits for quiz answers is pretty pathetic, and defeats the purpose of the merit system. It would be far better if worthwhile advice threads were not moved into obscure backwaters, and ICO, bounty, TwitBook and other spammy threads were either deleted or moved into the underworld here. This would cut out the pollution and weed infestation, and allow merit awarders to read the boards and award merit where it is deserved. It will also improve the image of Bitcoin Talk and attract new members who are interested in crypto and Bitcoin, and who don't want to throw their garbage at the boards in the hope that some of it will stick and provide them with a few pennies.

We cant ignore the members, who are genuinely read the rules and give their best for getting the merit. We should ban the copy-paster members. We should work in the favour of serious members.

It is not bad for these threads to be difficult to find. Maybe the effort they have to make to find them is, in fact, good.

this is my personal experience, I have found the threads when they have been closed or challenge has been over.

I don't think it's necessary. If create merit board as you say than it will be merit begging board. I think it will be better to focus on make quality and useful rather then make this kind of post. Those thread are mention you, that's only for motivate people to make quality post. Honestly I want to spend my merit those post are useful for forum member. I always try to help Jr. Members more than an established member's . If I saw some one make useful post than I leave at least 1 merit. So try to improve your post behavior. Don't make this kind of post may be seniors will ignore you.

There are very less such threads giving away merit points. The merit points which members got by default are all used up. Now the merit comes mainly from merit sources and they will give merits to good posts irrespective of such applications.

Why a separate thread for that anyway ? You can compile a list of current ones (if any) and post it for others. Biggest challenge is to keep it updated .

I don"t see any use to create a sub-section for Merits because I believe it's just motivating people to spam more about Merits..
On another side talking about the sections of the forum, I wonder why the Scam Accusations, Reputation are both in the trading section instead of the Meta section (or ?) Both child boards look like out of topic for the trading board

I am not requesting or begging to create ....this is my suggestion based on my experience and I always keep in mind the quality of writing post.
