On July 17th, Trade.io will be live. Some are calling it the Binance killer...
Low fees, community focused, fast trades and simple charts.

What are your thoughts on Trade.io?

My thoughts on trade.io is why the hell you posting it in currency exchange section?

All my trades need to be verified on the forum. Please send me a PM here first to confirm you are talking to me. Don't deal with anyone impersonating me on telegram.

P.S: I never ask trusted members to go first.

As the trade.io is not yet alive, are you sure of the low fees, community focused, fast trades and simple charts!!?
you should send your ask to those calling it the Binance killer...

If you are a member of the trade.io team, i think this post (currency exchange section) won't help you get positive feedbacks.

The more 'killer' something claims to be the less likely it is to happen. We must've had at least 1000 'Bitcoin killers' by now.

Exchanges are just as hard to 'kill' as coins. People are very reluctant to try anywhere new. If I was starting from scratch now I'm not sure I'd bother. Having said that I'd never heard of Binance up until very recently.

Trade.io is a great domain. Everything else is left to prove.

Besides that, the platform hasn't even launched yet (though you claim it'll launch tomorrow), and most people haven't even had a chance to get to actually use the platform hands-on yet to actually determine its user-friendliness and utility. Plenty of exchanges claim to offer features that destroy others and simplicity but they fail in one way or another. The community will get to make a decision on whether this is actually better than Binance when they get to use it, most importantly. I can't even give any true thoughts and/or criticisms on the platform yet because I don't have any true access to the site yet, though I hope to be able to access it tomorrow to see if it is indeed better than Binance.

If Binance ends up going down at whatever point, it won't be because of a rival exchange, but because of its own incompetence or regulative forces.

It's pretty childish to constantly call things killer this or that. Seriously, how old is everyone? Is it that difficult to understand that more competition is only making this industry stronger and more healthy overall? Robinhood was claimed to be a Coinbase killer, which is just as ridiculous. Exchange centralization is never a good thing, we have experienced that with MtGox. Binance needs to shrink, so at best I hope that TradeIO will eat through some of its market share.

Support less centralization, not destruction.

What are your thoughts on Trade.io?

Well, trade.io has a nice name, I have not had time to investigate all the members of the team, but they seem to be a great team, I still have not seen the exchange and its resources so I can not say if it will be an exchange that can compete with Binance, see that Binance is in the number One. A very high position, it will not be easy to compete with Binance. and trade.io must also overcome these exchanges:

Coinsuper

OKEx

Huobi

Bitfinex

If want to be number 1

The problem with exchanges is that at the very beginning they seem all fine, but after a while when users start to accumulate and the exchange operators get cocky, they'll stop caring about their users and end up just like any other exchange with loads and loads of complaints. I'm glad that I am using a local exchange service currently, especially with support in mind. If there is a problem or you have a question about something, they'll respond in an hour or so during business hours. The smaller the service is the more it respects its customers, which applies to any business regardless of the industry they operate it.

There is no such thing as "community focussed". If someone has invested money to build something up with fancy stuff to offer, they have to earn it back. I'm pretty sure they would have KYC procedure which wouldn't be community focussed. Truth is, no centralized exchange will ever be community focussed. Even if they intend to do so, the government wouldn't let them operate.

They must be doing some kind of promotion for this and the users could also be participating not just for the exchange but for their token as well (TIO - Price is increasing tho) so don't get swayed in whatever claim you read. You should determine first if it is backed by good reasoning. Clearly, This binance-killer is a weak claim mainly because trade.io hasn't launched yet. Give it some time and see how it goes

What are your thoughts on Trade.io?

Well it's the first birthday for Binance and they didn't get to where they are by luck, they work very hard to be the best exchange and they are always transparent with everything. It's going to be very hard to kill Binance. Shilling here most definitely will not accomplish that.  Wink

It is too early to say that and according to their twitter page only 1000 so called lucky traders can experience the trading platform at first before going public and it might not come exactly on 17 th july like claimed before.

Anyway I have already made few bucks trading TIO  Grin Dumped my holding, when exchange will go live all hype over TIO might fade up and also the price.

@OP if you like to praise the platform than post in their ANN here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2367245.1900

What are your thoughts on Trade.io?

My thoughts haven't changed. I don't trust new exchanges. I'll check trade.io one year from now. If the service still exist, I will consider using it.

i think it's impossible to know just how relentlessly exchanges are hammered when there's a bubble on and people are piling in. i'm sure none of them want to piss people off but there's no way of dealing with an upsurge that huge.

we saw that play out in real time with cryptopia. they went from something like 20-30,000 users to over a million in the space of a few weeks and it nearly finished them off.

Yes, but with every exchange added to the scene, more platforms are created to distribute the "load" more evenly. Everyone

is not going to rush to ONE exchange platform, causing it to collapse. It is also good to bring in more competition for the big

exchanges to keep them on their toes. We have seen how some big exchanges have been throwing their weight around,

because they have large support from the community.  Angry

Clearly either this guy is just being sent or paid out to spam out everywhere into the forum and do spread this "killer" thing that he said or just simply hes part of the team and didnt even know that spamming is really prohibited on this forum.

I dont know why hes confident too much that this new exchange would be a binance killer yet we do know the current standing of binance when it comes to rankings and volume. Achieving or surpassing such spot wont really be easy because the one priority or main target on here is on how you would convince users to transfer up into your new exchange. Unless if we do see some unique or good features among others but for sure this would takes time.

What are your thoughts on Trade.io?

It's a bit too far fetched to call a new Exchange a "Binance killer". Which are the reasons behind such a daring statement? Could you link any independent review which supports this thesis?
