Since there is no report thread on 'on-forum altcoin giveaways' so I made a new thread to list all the on-forum altcoin giveaways that needs to be nuked.
Based on the (unofficial) forum rules made by mprep number 15. Though, I'm not sure how is this rule work, but seems like this rule is only work for the airdrop thread(no bounty) which have to be commented #joined or something.
15. No on-forum altcoin giveaways. [6][e]
And also statement from theymos
Most giveaway threads are no longer allowed in the Alternate cryptocurrencies sections. From now on, posting or replying to such threads could result in being banned. Existing threads will be locked.

I'll post some of mine as a gift to global moderator:

I think it's an obsolete rule? well correct me if i'm wrong. But airdrops are blatant on bounties section, and I think it's equal to telegram campaign. Does this mean they're going on a loophole? By making airdrops = campaign?

Trashed and issued temp bans for all of them, thanks for the heads up.

The "no altcoin giveaways" rule is more elaborated upon in the stickied threads in Bounties (Altcoins) as well as the ANN sections. Also, if you want to report an on-forum altcoin giveaway, the best way to do so would be via the "Report to Moderator" link on the bottom right side of the page.

If it matches the "low effort task" definition (outlined here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3953664.0) then yes. In this case, they not only incentivised posting via low effort tasks but also incentivized posting in their (now trashed) ANN thread.

How do you prefer them to be reported? Reporting one post at a time through the report button takes me a lot of time, and feels boring enough to quickly give up. Barely any of them use a "normal" forum name, most look like they're generated by bots. And bots won't care about temp bans.
I can report them, but if a report just leads to that one post being deleted, it doesn't seem worth the effort. If they get nuked, at least that account won't do it again.

Generally just reporting the giveaway itself is enough. Also, posting "#join" in itself is not bad - plenty of threads use the "#join" format for applying to non-low effort tasks (e.g. signature campaigns).

Thank you very much for the clarification.
But I think we've got a serious issue here based on the above case... An entire bounty management platform is breaking the rules with all of the campaigns they manage. And they've had it as standard practice for a long time.

EVERY single campaign ran by bountyplatform.io has incentivization for those "#join" posts. Their system is made to track tasks automatically & requires registration with forms and yet they mislead users to believe that they have to make those #join posts on bitcointalk for their work to count on any bounty, even though the work tracked has nothing to do with bitcointalk.

Users just post their username which is against the rules as clarified above, resulting in a ton of spam and bloated threads. From my understanding, they provide their platform as a service and as a result, dozens or potentially hundreds of campaigns are currently in violation of the low effort rule.

Most campaigns listed on their site explicitly asks for #join posts, others get such responses even without asking likely both due to the memory of users as well as bot promotion. Some examples:
Fill the form as clearly as possible :

Code:
Bitcointalk username :
Telegram username:
ETH address :

General rules;
1 | You must join our Telegram channel here and stay until the end of the crowdsale. Once you have joined the main channel, you must then join the bounty channel here and comment saying "Joining Telegram Bounty". We will manually check these and verify your entry.

[...]confirm your participation in this thread by posting “participating in Trivver Contest + category” and a link to your creation.

And the thing is, even if the thread's text doesn't explicitly ask for such post, the platform's rules supposedly require it and it's listed on the 'rules' for each campaign on their website. See:

Seems like the bounty manager from above didn't learn their lesson, same rules broken again:

How to join (FAQ):
1. Join the channel: https://t.me/DeStreamEN
2. Register in our bounty portal
3. Connect your Telegram account and join to Telegram campaign in the bounty portal - https://destream.bountyplatform.io
4. Verify your status in spreadsheet

Grin the spammers aren't giving up... Third time the above campaign re-surfaces:

Code:
#JOIN

Telegram campaign

Telegram url: https://t.me/username
Telegram group and chanel url: https://t.me/groupname
This time it's a different OP than the original. Perhaps a ban is warranted for evasion.

Edit to add some context:
Obviously the #join messages are still played out as a 'must' to join the campaign in order for the thread to get bumps.
It's a misleading practice to help promote threads as it clearly has nothing to do with bitcointalk when it comes to tasks like telegram so it is obviously not required, yet some dishonest managers use it for bumps, and it also leaves space open for automated bumps as under this format there would be no way to distinguish between human of machine posts.

Mods should be stricter with this type of activity. Since here it's been evaded as much as three times perhaps a ban is warranted.

After reviewing the case about "actmyname" I think he was banned by mistake, I don't think that they were asking people to post their addresses and asking for proof of participation should be OK only if the airdrop thread were posted on bounties. since all of those threads were nuked I can't recall whether it was in bounties or not, if it was in bounties then we could consider the thread as a signature campaign where people post their applications.

If that thread was on ANN board then a mod could've just moved it to the bounties board like every other thread being posted on wrong sections.
I would like for a mod to again review the case of "actmyname" please because I think there has been a misunderstanding.

We could say that they were airdropping for anybody supporting their project via social medias. kind of like what most of the ICOs and bounties do.

Why do you tear a piece out of the general text and imagine it as a problem?

We have a campaign in Telegram groups where the participant needs to publish our news in their groups, we need this message to identify the participant. In the general rules, it looks like this:

We sent our rules to the global moderator "mprep" for verification. he said that everything was fine.

Why did you delete the image in your profile that you are from the Bounty Portal?

I ask you to draw the attention of the global moderator to what is happening.

Project Destrem originally launched its bounty on the Bounty Portal. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4434197.0

But after we realized that there are no live participants, transparency in bounty hunter reports, proper administration of the campaign bounty. The project moved to the Bounty platform.

Payment for the Bounty Portal services was made in full.  https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/e0df5993f3da14f8cb04d46883c501b19dacba5febb36a757a53ecfc6b600c86/

Bounty portal sent us a report on which we had to take into account the work of bounty hunters in the new bounty. They sent us an Excel document in which there were more than 1800 bounty hunters.

We have a skype conversation with manager of Bounty Portal

Now they delete their messages

The group, where this correspondence was, was deleted today

Of these bounty hunters of Bounty Portal came only 16 people that confirmed that they participated in the old campaign. All the rest we consider are bots that do not do any good for the project and for the crypto community in general.

Apparently Bounty Portal is very offended and wants to harm the conduct of ICO DeStream

Dear moderator "mprep"  please take our report in to account . check bounty portal accounts:  "alani123", https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=325061 and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1061976 .  Perhaps they are deceiving people and their clients. They promise to make a bounty and attract hunters, but for their work they use only bots. It is possible in this way to steal tokens than the people's attitude to crypto currency, ICO, bounty hunters

It was in bounties section and it was an airdrop asking for users to post the proof of authentication.

Reference:
Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.

Similar threads are already restricted to Games and Rounds in the non-altcoin sections, but the giveaway-related post volume is so high in the altcoin sections that I've decided to just ban them entirely here.

Deleted airdrop thread: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php%3Ftopic=4587458.0
So actmyname was banned for breaking the rules, correct? Mods, can you specify the ban period, if you wouldn't mind?

Every signature campaign also asks to post your application, asking for proof of authentication on bounty section is not considered as "low effort" posting . imagine it was a signature campaign and the manager were asking to post your application with one difference, in sig camps you go and post all over the forum but in an airdrop you simply skip the posting part and get paid.
All I ask is for a review and if it was really breaking the rules I have no objection, also I think the ban period is 14 days?

True, but that's only allowed on the Services board if it pays in Bitcoin. Altcoin payments aren't allowed there.

I think it's an obsolete rule? well correct me if i'm wrong. But airdrops are blatant on bounties section, and I think it's equal to telegram campaign. Does this mean they're going on a loophole? By making airdrops = campaign?

At the moment it looks like basically every ICO is doing a givaway which they erroneously call "airdrop", since they are airdropping just 0.01% of their supply or so, which is what falls under the definition of givaway.
