Will this work with normal Scrypt coins if I change it in the config from Scrypt-vert to just Scrypt? I love the raw intensity option. I have 2 280xs in an enclosed case that run well at I 13, but together are just too hot for the enclosure. I've had success with this miner setting them at TC and raw intensity 7168 which is essentially I 12.807. They stay at temps that I like and I'm fine with 87.5% throughput. However, if like to point one of them to a Scrypt coin and am not sure if there are other miners that allow for such fine tuning of intensity.

sorry for the delayed response you will want to change the device line to device 0,1,2 to enable the other 2 gpu.  you can always enable one or two at a time or when you get into the miner you can press G and enable from the menu aswell

at the bottom of the guide you will see a link to my kalroth guide which provides you with all the same options for scrypt.  Soon sgminer will release a new version that does both.  But once its compiled for windows and working properly I will release a new guide for easy swapping.  A buddy of mine has a coinswap for linux if interested PM me I will send you the repo.

The settings you got there are generally for a 270/270x.  You will likely want thread concurrency 8193 and maybe just use shaders*n for now (n being a random number 3-50) see where it gets you (4 will likely be best i think cant remember good 280x settings check replies here).  Dont forget you must have gpu-threads 2 which can be in the bat (-g 2) or the config but it makes a big difference aswell.

Good post. Thanks

Thanks! havent had much time lately to work on it lots on my plate.  But hope it helps Cheesy

Running Gigabyte 270X with Ignition75 cfg and CC1180 MC1500, looks great 0HW but i think can get more. What's the correct  order of tweaking (TC, RI)?

My cfg (Ignition75):

I would suggest running a modified version of cudaminer for Nvida cards.

If the cards are all the same, or you want to run them all at the same settings, there's no need to put every figure in there three times, it just complicates matters and doesn't achieve anything. Also I'd suggest changing queue to 0, scan time to 1 and expiry to 30 as suggested in the OP, unless you have some reason for them being higher. And if you are going to put a shaders line in, change it to however many shaders a 290 has.

Does anyone have any reliable settings for an r9 270? I have two HIS r9 270 IceQx2 2GB cards that I'm trying to get configured and I'm at a loss. I usually get 470 - 480 kh/s with normal scrypt mining. http://imgur.com/fyvQUjm

should stop posting false config settings as these settings do not work with 90% of 270/xs cards also doesn't even work with scrypt-n miners bullshit settings

Hello guys plz help me i can't seem to get my miner working correctly.
I have 3 R9 290 gpus that the modded cgminer says is turning out 1200 k/h total but on every pool dashboard and p2pool it shows a total of 400 k/h.
My total scrypt hash was 2600 k/h so the amount on the cgminer sound kinda correct. I was told to let the dashboard average out after a hour same 400 k/h.
I read on forums saying that the cgminer average is correct so i left it alone for a day and it only generated 1.6 vertoin the amount you get for 400 k/h.
No matter what i do i can't seem to get the full performance of my self only 1/3 of it.

Hello!

Is anyone know how to make more than 300 kH/s with The Kev vertminer?

I use normal vertminer and I've 505 kH/s on mine 290X (with I20 and TC 26400, G1). But I can't do this on kev version. Is it even possible?

hi, i have one of my miner with 1x 6950 1gb and 1x 6970 2gb , the system has 8gb ram , im mining with scrypt and everything work peach, but with scrypt-n AMD driver keep crashing, i try each card alone and with the 6950 the driver crash, and if i use a lower intensity it runs but it makes like a 1 Khash :S  and like 60% usage on the gpu, i try this THEKEV and guiminer scryp and 0.5.3 and is the same result it just crash the driver, any ideas?
