Is anyone out there willing to please help my out? Smiley It was so hard getting CGminer going and now it seems like its a replay.......Sad This thread was very helpful in getting the program running the only thing that took time to figure out was how to get more then 1 GPU to run. it was ether not clear in the very good instruction or I totally missed it do to my lack of experience.
The best I can get is 260 to 274kh/s on 3 rigs that all get a solid 750 per gpu. I just got 0.5.3 running and I'm having trouble getting up to hash ( hopping for 325 maybe 350k per card)
hardware and configurations fallow.

Same brand & model # GPU's? All with same mem clock @ Core clock & VDC Settings?

Not usre, as Im not a multi-gpu hasher, but if everything, bios, clocks, & vdc and cards are all save, you may be having a voltage drop due to a current draw issue. Im no expert tho, also, are these all spaced out welll with risers or just on the mobo? ( risers work best )

I think it could be that its a bran new GPU just 1 day old and is still braking in. Or its this crappy BTC MOBO that will not run with the 2 power molex connecters connected from the mobo to the power supply. It shorts out and will not run when connected. This is the second one in a row that is doing this...

Try looking on the regular VTC thread.. I dont see much activity on this forum, but some one may chime in and have some advice, just dont give up, or only run a few GPUS's.. its better than none yano :/

What an awesome thread. Thank you! Looking forward to starting this. I'm still very new to mining, so I'm hoping someone will be able to assist a bit. I have the option of using 1 Nvidia Quadro FX 3700 or I can use 2 Quadro FX 3500. any thoughts/suggestions on this? Thanks!

Hi

Thank you for the best advice out there regarding the new setup and settings for VertCoin.
I currently have around 20 MH of GPU's mix of R9 280X R9 290 and R9 290X

I would love to donate a weeks worth of hashing power to anyone that can assist me with setting up my 5 rigs and tweaking for optimum performance for Vertcoin.

Please contact me on skype byron.chadband or email byron@purpleflytrading.co.za or reply here I will try keep it open and check to see if any takers :-)

I get 100% hardware errors with this --

Code:
/vertminer -o 192.168.1.2:9041 -u test -p test --nscrypt --scan-time 1 -I 12

In case of bit of history, with cgminer I get 100% hardware errors, that's why I use reaper. sgminer works fine.

vertminer is a direct fork of cgminer, it has inherited the bug.

I just wanted to say sorry for not popping in and helping out much guys.  I have had a rough few months.  I moved twice and I just recently lost my job.  I did however manage to re gain a job within the same week but at less pay.  Its been a struggle.  The main reason I popped in is I want to give a special thanks to whoever donated 45 vert a couple weeks ago.  I received very few donations since I started this thread (1 or 2 vert here and there maybe 10 total asside from 2 specific donations) and really didn't expect to see anything in my wallets when I checked them last week.  I hadn't pulled them up in a while and haven't even been able to mine much lately.  So I was extremely happy to see I had that in there it really helped out.  Without that Id be hungry right now as I am still waiting for my first paycheck so again thank you very much.  This donation and one other donation I received in the past that helped me fix my car has really helped me survive.  The vertcoin community is by far the most giving.  I am very happy to be a part of it I will do my best to make appearances more often. Thanks again guys for helping me out <3

All donations Go directly to support my autistic son:
