the prices that the article is quoting and is trying to say they are because of India situation have nothing to do with India! in fact when the Indian news came out (RBI bank closing Zebpay's accounts) price was the same with a little rise in it. the drop came a long time after that and it was because of the Bancor exchange hack where altcoins (mostly ETH) was stolen and dumped on the market crashing the altcoin prices which then brought bitcoin price down with it.
India's "U-turn" may not change anything since nobody cares about India anyways!

Great news for every one. This really could give good effects on bitcoin's performance in the crypto market. Hope that other countries who are banning cryptos will also lift their bans and embrace this awesome technology. This is just the beginning of some great news that we will experience in the coming years. Just really hoping that every country will see crypto as an advantage if used properly rather than a threat to the economy. There are still lots of technology improvements that blockchain can offer so better take advantage on this side of the innovation.

Reserve Bank of India's decision instructing the banks in India ; not to allow their accounts use buying crypto; may not had any major effect on the price of crypto currency.
Indian U turn may not have any significant effect on the price of the market.
But we can not overlook the significance of Indian economy. India is the sixth largest biggest economy power in the world. Sixth number ranking was with the France and now they are at seven.
Awareness in India about crypto is increasing day by day. It being a very big economic customer based market may turn to a very big crypto user market provided given chance to the citizens will definitely a big boost to the crypto world.
So my opinion; when Indians will start using crypto it will be big boost to the market.

If that happens then it will surely boost the price of bitcoin as India is one of the biggest crypto investor and trader but it's not enough we need more countries to support bitcoins to see price rise.

I think whether they green light or not, bitcoin will still make the headlines.
the earlier they join for them to benefit the better.

China will decide the fate of Bitcoin as peer to peer payment system worldwide LOL, even 2 years ago when China was a big thing in the news and their volume that they reported (for fake i might add) were huge, they didn't have any effects on the price. now that their exchanges are closed and their volume is real and low they don't even have that fake effect for FUD purposes  |

Then that's some good news coming from India. I also love the fact people stood up for the officials to review their stands on crypto. These are the people we need, the diehard fans of crypto. Let's hope the revision becomes fruitful and more flexible regulations get set.

India making a reversal would have a mega positive impact! it will be positive but not a "mega" positive thing. in other words the impact of India and their decisions now is the same as their impact when their reserve bank closed the exchange accounts. if you look back at the dates of that negative news and compare it with a chart you can see that price didn't move at all. so the reversal of that shouldn't have any significant impact either. |
