Can Mtgox reverse internal bitcoin transactions?

Does that increase the risk of buying goxBTC?

Yes they can reverse the internal BTC transfers, since they do not even use the blockchain but are just database transactions. Not likely though unless they suspect fraud or other illegal activity.

As the above post says, there is non-zero probability of internal transfers being reversed.

I think at this point, Gox might and could do anything. If they really are insolvent, all bets are off.

Can Mtgox reverse internal bitcoin transactions?
That's a very good question.

It's more like "can they get away with it if they do it?" Given the reluctance of Gox suckers customers to sue, probably yes.
