I read the article that says that Coinbase is considering adding five new cryptocurrencies to its exchange: cardano, basic attention token, stellar lumens, Zcash and 0x. It is very strange that they do not consider adding Ripple, in any case if they are added it will be good news for the whole sector

Yes they have added the coins, they have gotten an approval from SEC to list security tokens so expect more coins on coinbase in the coming days, I think in few months to come, they will be compete with Bianance for the top exchange with highest volume.

I heard this news! immediately after that these coins took off in price! was a very good pump! it seems to me that they have already played their own! in any case, this is a very interesting and promising coins! and when they are on the stock exchange - will be very well worth it! I have marked these coins for myself and will wait for new news on them!

They need give other good projects the opportunity to list on Coinbase. There are more good projects and if they list on Coinbase the volume will increase. Between this projects I like 0x.

This decision was necessary because lot of their customer base was unhappy because of the few number of coins were listed over there and the coinbase customers have to rely on other exchanges in order to other popular altcoins. I think coinbase has taken this decision because lot of their customers requested it and this would be really good for the new alts being added because they will get a much better exchange.

Hmm i can not really understand why coinbase going to add the 5 coins. In my opionion iota would have to be one of the coins which should be added. But this might happen in the future aswell

It is excellent news. It at once has affected the price of these coins. Coinbase is an excellent exchange which has a big future. I hope that they will add new coins in bigger quantity than now. It will have a positive impact on all crypto. |

The ripple cryptocurrency is very centralized and connected to banks. I believe stellar is a better choice than ripple.
