With so many options for accepting Bitcoin on your website do we need any more?

So many companies offer services to accept Bitcoin or some other crypto as a method of payment, I recently saw another one pop up in testing mode.

Unless something exceptional is offered including super-low fees do we need to have more and more options to process payments on websites?

Thank you for the information. I had heard of Bitpay, Coinpayments, Coinbase and several more but never heard of BTCPayServer so will do some research about it. by the sound of the name it seems they BTCPayServer is specific to Bitcoin only and not any others. Is that right?

Ireland's online payment processor Stripe has announced that it will not accept payment by Bitcoin on April 23, The reason behind the change is that Bitcoin's volume capacity, transaction deadline and high costs are behind. Stripe became the first major processor to accept Bitcoin in 2014.
Product manager Tom Karlo continues to refer to the company's continued track of electronic currencies and emerging platforms that could make trading on Blockchain more viable. He specifically mentioned Bitcoin's Lightning Network, Ethereum, and OmiseGO as promising projects.

A lot of them are done to use freely. (ie: WordPress plugins) It is somehow a good sign as it shows how the adoption is growing and how people get involved in. If it wasn't the case people would blame Bitcoin for not to be user-friendly or lack of solutions to be used.
What about the payment processors online to accept fiat currencies? There are literally thousands existing. The same question could be asked too, do we need as much? There is a demand and so a market.

Edit: I searched and in this list, there are about 80, and not all are listed, like Payza, Perfect Money, Payoneer, Payeer and so on

Lots of information in that list. Thanks for the link.

The list of payment processors is massive both FIAT and non-Fiat orientated ones. Free crypto payment processors are a game changer in the very near future most of these commission based merchantes will be out of business.

Dont you guys think that we need a payment processor which will bridge between the bank account and the virtual payment system. I mean there is no system in place where we can send the money directly from our bank account to the crypto accepting party. For example there are PayPal, nettler etc who are able to transfer the funds directly from our bank accounts even when there is no balance in those wallets. I want to know about any processor which has this kind of codes in it. I mean say im paying at the crypto services and I want to use my DApp but have no balance in it then that wallet should be able to retrieve the money from bank, convert it into the desired coins and then pay it. Then there is fun.

Very interesting but have we to be sure that no malware or keylogger are inside the code?
I'm pretty worried when I have to use these scripts.

Yes exactly, this is what we need. For now all I can do is give a BTC address on my website and then have it sent by wire transfer to my account... but this is slow, clumsy, and expensive. It's a shame that payment systems like Square and Stripe don't accept it.

The problem is, they'd probably take too much in commissions. Square takes 3.5% on card payments, so they might take 7% on BTC. Whereas if you just sent it to a wallet or exchange, collected it until it's a few thousand, you could get away with fees as low as 0.1%

As far as I know, relatively recently in Ukraine, PrivatBank, began to accept payments in bitcoin. I do not know how the process is going, but I am glad that the largest Bank in the country has officially started working with cryptocurrency. But for some reason they abandoned this idea. Perhaps due to the fact that a very small number of people used bitcoin to pay.

Yeah, this is exactly correct. We pretty much only need new payment processors to support the lightning network. That is where a majority of Bitcoins payments will be taking place in the future. The reason we have been getting a lot of new payment processors recently, is because Bitpay sort of screwed up their business by mandating that a specific BIP is used for the payments. This was definitely unintuitive, so a lot of payment processors popped up to steal some of Bitpays clients, and it is working so far! I never really like Bitpay anyways...

competition is always good. it keeps businesses honest and on their toes forcing them to always try and provide the best and cheapest services. otherwise if we end up having 1 or 2 giants they end up taking the whole market and never improve and eventually they may even turn bad.

not to mention that we need more payment processors in other countries that are not US. BitPay and Coinbase which are two of the biggest ones are already in US!

There is a FOMO brewing...

I agree. Because having more and more payment processors will just make people confused and there could be a possibilty that those sites can be phised or used to scam so I think one is enough like BTCPaySever. The most important thing with this is that we still have the full control of our own funds and I think that everyone loves to support  with it most especially to Bitcoin holders that uses payment processors.

BIG WINNER!

With so many options for accepting Bitcoin on your website do we need any more?

So many companies offer services to accept Bitcoin or some other crypto as a method of payment, I recently saw another one pop up in testing mode.

Unless something exceptional is offered including super-low fees do we need to have more and more options to process payments on websites?
maybe a country that has developed and well received cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency has been recognized it could happen, in my country the cryptocurrency is not fully recognized as the currency that applies in my country maybe that's the reason it's hard to happen
