So, MtGox is opening a Bitcoin Café (self.Bitcoin)

Not sure if r/bitcoin has heard already but Gox is opening their very own Bitcoin Café right under their offices.

I live in Tokyo and decided to visit the offices to get help with my stuck funds (Japanese yen). The secretary said they wouldn't see me but she gave me a paper I could fill out that she would send up to them. I did so, and my problem was attended to within minutes.

I stuck around to see if I could catch Mark (didn't). I decided to look around the premises noticed on their mailbox 'Bitcion Café'. https://i.imgur.com/26iJm5l.jpg

I looked to the other side of the building and sure enough a suite was under construction.

Here is the exact location http://[Suspicious link removed]/maps/Iq7Pm

I was with a friend and he knocked on the door. A woman came out and I grabbed a horribly blurry shot while the door was open. https://i.imgur.com/mSaXzpQ.jpg

He asked with her but she refused to answer most questions. She did say that it will be opening in March.

I took one more shot over the screen on the windows. https://i.imgur.com/8mPFZZO.jpg

I am a crap photographer and had a horrible headache and wanted to get home, so would have taken more, but the one interesting thing I saw was a guy working on a table with a ton of wires coming out the top of it. Looks like the kind of thing that would have little ipad stations built into the table.

Make of this post what you will, it just reminds us yet again that Gox's priorities are not where they should be.

Are you saying that by visiting MtGox in person you have had your Yen returned?

It sounds like that's what happened.

I suspect Mt. Gox is worried about police involvement. If they had angry customers outside their offices, especially if they had more than one, and the police became involved, questions would be asked of Mt. Gox. Like "Please show us your payment services agency license", and such.
