JUSTO BOT from Team Just of Fomo3D just found out something very interesting which EOS will be held accountable for.
From his discord..

Today, 40% of the ethereum's network is being used by this contract
https://etherscan.io/address/0x98b4ca8bd52e4ed1f28d3f30d9f567d1166c9483
A beautiful and innovative copy-paste of a default ERC20 standard token called "IFishYunYu" with no features. (So it does nothing.)

Yet miraculously, it seems tons of "unique" accounts are transferring massive volumes of this token constantly, almost 50 ETH of gas an hour have been steadily used for nearly 24 hours now. Just to transfer individual tokens to the Fcoin exchange. But of course. The exchange is just a red herring to distract you from what's really happening.

Let's see what the creator of this contract has been up to recently.
https://etherscan.io/tx/0xd0e334dca734071f395cad64df90269113ead321232e5603f66fc6fb2885c654
Looks like he minted nearly 5 Billion Ifish tokens about 12 days ago...
to this account
0x45f64a7148d1cfeded427dd4380b458877e7ce56
which split it up across
10 or so accounts, that each do this
https://etherscan.io/token/0x98b4ca8bd52e4ed1f28d3f30d9f567d1166c9483?a=0xcd4777b5f4d8779e99ea996bb32988daf0bbbf3b
splitting it up across 500-600 accounts each.

Which are, the mystery "unique" accounts that are spamming the eth network. So yeah, it's one guy, it's the creator of the token. He was doing it during the previous Fcoin exchange competition too. He's running a multi-sided scheme, he even has bots running "wash" accounts. Like
https://etherscan.io/address/0xa67ef2aca4c6459e60821c1b1afe45812c4c1bcd#tokentxns
which is pretty cool, it just shoves the token into other accounts, and then those accounts shove it into other accounts, and then back to the big main account to simulate volume on the token itself. Try following a transaction, you'll come right back to the big-daddy account.

most importantly on why is this being done?
Let's see what one of the accounts funding all this eth might be doing
https://etherscan.io/token/0x86fa049857e0209aa7d9e616f7eb3b3b78ecfdb0?a=0x7a717e226a8b37b912d0effbb0aab24ab690dbdb
gee, that sure is a lot of crowdfunded EOS, hundreds of thousands to be exact. From an account that seems to receive large sums of eos and immediately market sell them for thousands of ETH, which is then distributed out to contracts like this. Contracts that have been pulling this kind of transaction attack consistently across the ETH network.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

EOS has been confronted about it and they have not given an answer yet...
I am ready with my pop corns to enjoy the shitstorm this will generate.
Also would short the fuck out of EOS if there were decent ways to do so.

I think it has something to do with the list system of Fucoin exchange.
Because the last phase of list is planned before July 16th, this project wants list on Fucoin exchange.

Read the whole thing..
I despise fcoin but they are just a red herring.. the real culprit here strongly appears to be EOS..

Whoever doing this, are just helping ETH.
They are showing where ETH needs to improve in order to stay in the race.
Confirmation of EOS original team would further disgrace EOS for ETH followers but not for others.

I doubt they will confirm, but they have been spotted.
Hmm I'd like to think so, however Plasma and Sharding not being ready until 2020 makes me wonder why vitalik doesn't support more the various independent offchain scaling solutions like what HBT is doing.
Reason why I am bullish on ETC and bearish on ETH.

Super bearish on EOS of course, especially after such cheap shots.

Now these fuckers will have to give an official response to the negative media coverage.. they have been caught wrongdoing, their reputation is going to be ruined and they will finally be exposed for the worthless scamming pieces of shit they really are.

All that it shows is that ETH is weak if it can be attacked like that.
The rest is PR.

I came to the realisation that if eth ever drops below 100$, it's fucked.

EOS and everyone promoting it is the epitome of what's wrong in crypto. A non-functioning product that has seemingly squandered BILLIONS from investors, while attacking other real products to try and make themselves look better. A complete and utter disgrace.

I wouldn't be shocked if this were true, and if so I don't think it should be approved because Ethereum is an established, honest project. On the other hand I think these types of attacks are inevitable and will ultimately make the defences stronger.

I see that you've created 3 threads about this case. Why don't you just update this one? I think it'll be better for everyone to get updated about this case from your threads Smiley.

Beside IMO I think this case will affect to EOS price a lot and I think it's the worst news for EOS holders and investors. LOL. But how about ETH price? Do you think it's possible that ETH price will dump just because of this attack?

Well, this is pretty bad for EOS given the fact that evidence so far explicitly points to them being the cause of this attack.People will lose faith in it soon. They may want to make clear the reason for such an attack if they feel it wasn't done intentionally.

They quickly denied without providing any evidence.
Big liars.
Unfortunately there's many people like the guy above who won't think there was an attack "because the news didn't go on cointelegraph" though so for them to completely lose their reputation there needs to be more noise about this.
