Hello everyone! I'm looking to sell my original iPad1 in light of my iPad2 purchase.

Photo Collection: http://imgur.com/a/DcGSd#kfZZH

It's a 64GB, WiFi + 3G model, and it includes the Dodocase I bought for it way back when, as well as another case, all the original contents of the iPad1 box + box, and the Apple wireless bluetooth keyboard + box. The iPad is in fantastic condition, and shows extremely minimal signs of wear -- you actually have to sit down and really look for signs of wear to find them. They're virtually unnoticeable on a day-to-day basis. I've always taken good care of the iPad, I'm not a smoker, I haven't spilled anything on it, I've always kept it clean, and the screen is in **perfect** condition. The Dodocase is in used condition, it shows some signs of use, but it feels very natural in the hand, very smooth.. a good kind of "worn", like holding an old book, which is what the Dodocase designers were going for in the first place. The keyboard is in perfect condition, just never had a chance to use it as much as I would have liked.

The iPad works perfectly, no screen cracks or issues of any kind, the bluetooth keyboard works perfectly, and price of shipping for everything is included in the price. I have no qualms with jailbreaking, but keep in mind that the iPad will arrive completely wiped of software and will be essentially factory fresh.

I'd like to try to sell here instead of eBay only because eBay = Paypal, and they charge ~$25 each for listing the auction/receiving payment, which I think is absurd. Having said that though, my price is going by the typical eBay selling prices for these (with all the accessories). Check me out on eBay:

http://myworld.ebay.com/starmenet

I'm a 100% seller on eBay, so feel free to send me a message to check that it's really me. Everyone I've ever dealt with on eBay has always come away happy. Smiley

Price: 122BTC

I think this is very fair considering all the accessories and the included shipping. For an additional 6BTC, I will ship priority internationally to anywhere in the world. Domestic or international, the package will be fully insured.

Thanks for reading! Let me know if you have any questions. Smiley

The device interests me, the price does not. If buying in the US I can get a new one with an invoice I can write off on my business accounting and 1 year warranty for ~100btc (refurbished by apple, new elsewhere). But I'm in Europe so this isn't all that interesting to me. I am on the market for one such thing but the price has to make it worth my while.

I understand yours is pristine and has extras, I'm not saying it is not worth what you ask, but in the case where you don't find interested parties and are in a hurry to sell, I'll bid 80btc, shipped to Europe (that's roughly $400 atm).

this is a scam unless you'd accept 100% of funds in escrow until item received. please no one send money u p front or even 50% escrow. if you haev 100% ebay feedback and thats your account you wouldnt be posting this on here and you'd just use eBay, list it and get a great price b/c nothing goes for higher on ebay than apple products.

Its not a scam at all. I'm serious, eBay and Paypal eat a significant portion of the selling price for anything you sell with them, and I'm giving BTC a go. Feel free to check with me on eBay to confirm its me. I always do Buy It Now auctions because I don't like the chance of an auction going for too low of a price, and I've based my price around Buy It Now auctions that I've seen for iPad1's in similar condition with the accessories, etc. I'm open to bids, but I'm really aiming for >110BTC here. Having said that, I don't think I could let it all go for less than 120BTC or so. Really, this is all premium expensive stuff.

And the way I see it, if I sell for ~$600 with all the accessories and get the equivalent in BTC, and the price of BTC goes up by a dollar or so in the next month, I'll have made more money in the end than on eBay. I have a vested interested in doing a sale with BTC.

I don't know anything about Escrow but I have no problem setting up something like that as long as it wouldn't involve taking a comparable cut from the profit like eBay + Paypal would.

if you sold it on ebay for 580$ and have been a member for as longa s your history page says, you'd lose at most 60$, most long time/high feedback rated members recieve discounts. personally i have less feedback than the linked account but still can list items for no fees...

Look, I've given you my reasons, and that's that. I'm trying to sell it here, with BTC.

Hm.. what price would people be more comfortable with? I think >110BTC minimum considering the condition and all the accessories. Thoughts?

Look on Craigslist or ebay, they are not going for anywhere near that. I bought mine 2 months ago for 399 on CL.

399 for a 64GB + 3G, with two cases and a wireless keyboard, and all mint condition?
