Has anyone noticed the price has started rallying today?

The sell order book is as bare as a skimpy waitress. Quite incredible.

Will this be THE Alternative coin?  Given that it has solved the vulnerabilities plaguing other coins.

It has a much better chance of succeeding because it uses a different hash.

So.. it went from "pretty much nothing" to "3 times pretty much nothing"?
There's only 300k in existence so the "bullshit index" of total coinage (brixage?) times current trading price went from 50 to 150 btc...

Now I really wish I had kept my hands on those brix for a bit longer. Oh well, I still made more profit than I expected. Smiley

ArtForz is  strict and realistic, as usual.

Still, you have to admit, the minor buy-in we have today is heartwarming in a way

Since the creator gave himself 7million TBX before its creation, assuming there are enough orders to fill (surely there aren't), he has $245k

I wonder, why it does concern you so much, is this some peculiar competitive sense, or are you just upset that I didn't donate any to the "Solidcoin 2.0 makefile restoration fund" ?

Honestly I'd worry far less about lolcust's 7.7m coins than what happens when the first botnet switches and starts selling.
Contemplate for a minute the results of the network hash power doubling, and 50% of the new network hash power feeding a single wallet.

Meh, botmasters will have  incentive to hoard anything that they don't need to spend on their immediate human needs (hookers and blow) and botnet's expansion (buying 0day exploit  know-hows etc.)

Which means that botnets will increase price (slowly, at first)

And the higher the price escalates the more incentive rational botmaster will have to hoard.

No, I am not a coin "fanboy" or anything like that. I just don't understand why people are using a coin that if/once it became mainstream, the creator would have more money than everyone else combined. Seems like a scam to me.
