Is the node running properly?

I was not receiving anything, I re-checked software version and rebooted, and the general client window now suggests an update or warns node updates may be necessary... has anyone else received a testnet transaction already?

Hmm, wipe out ~/.darkcoin/testnet3 and try again. Let me know if it keeps happening and I'll try something else

Any actually tried darksend yet? I haven't seen any transactions go through.

You use it with the console, like this:

darksend mtdPqzvMdxMxZAy9FYN26HjjBvUiYbYLAx 10   -- to make a payment of 10

or

getpoolinfo  -- to get the state of the pool

With the daemon, you use it like this:

./darkcoind --daemon
./darkcoind darksend mtdPqzvMdxMxZAy9FYN26HjjBvUiYbYLAx 10
./darkcoind getpoolinfo

Opps, wrong IP. Try this:

addnode=23.22.165.148

Cool, synced now. Thanks for the test DRK!

No problem, here's my address if you want to test DarkSend mmhC4TAU7oPMEkEpVWDVRwq7dUtHPAuGVq

Err did you just... Send 1k dark? If you're giving away I'd accept some. XmYzjkiifQR4eEkGaFHjkQxAc2msnvUmzt

It's monopoly darkcoin sly.

I just had a flashback to getting bankrupted during monopoly. I severed blood ties because of that game.

Hi eduffield,

would love to help testing but executable don't fire up.
Do they need to be x64 arch? Would this explain them not doing anything at all?

Maybe they're all just making sure there's not some loophole to send testdrk to the real drk wallet!   Cheesy

I just realized I was using wrong client the whole time. Can't execute the provided binary because it's for different Ubuntu release and library versions don't match. eduffield, can you compile the test wallet with static libraries?

Can everyone testing please redownload the qt-client from this link:

http://www.darkcoin.io/downloads/alpha/darkcoin-qt

And don't use the daemon for the time being.

I just fixed a serious bug that was causing us issues with darksend

Hi, I want to help, but don't have much time.  I downloaded the pre-compiled version for ubuntu and when I try to run it, I get an error:

./darkcoin-qt: error while loading shared libraries: libminiupnpc.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I run everything locally, I never installed any miners or anything, don't know if that matters?

Diff shouldn't be high at all. Sure you're on testnet?

Might be a bit overkill, but why don't you try this, then try again......

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install -y build-essential m4 libssl-dev libdb++-dev libboost-all-dev libminiupnpc-dev git automake libcurl4-openssl-dev
