There are two things Air drops and Bounties on crypto I want to know what is the difference Airdrops and Bounties.

Airdrop is basically the free distribution of tokens of a particular project with the intention of attracting and spreading the project to all corners of the globe. imagine 1000 participated in an airdrop and all these 1000 people liked, followed and share/re-posted/retweeted pinned post of the project on the projects official pages. that is 1000+ publicity.

Bounties on the other hand are highly task oriented and spans over a period of time. usually prior to token sale or during token sale.the aim of bounty campaigns, i believe is to promote the ICO event of the project in order to attract investors/ angels.

Financial, Bounty campaigns pays more than Airdrops.
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

In my opinion, the differences between airdrop and bounty are:
1. Airdrop needs to increase the number of followers of the project in telegram, twitter, facebook. The task of airdroping is simply to participate in the social networking site of the project and find more free tokens by introducing more people to the social networking sites of the project. Besides, airdrops scam more than bounty campaigns.
2. Bounty campaigns require higher demands than airdrop, but the participants get more tokens. The bounty campaign has many tasks to do: bitcointalk signature campaign, share your project on social networking sites like twitter, facebook, reddit, create content like article writing or youtube video creation. Bounty projects are often more prestigious than airdrops.

If an ICO wanting to get attention easily and with lesser overhead, they'd choose Airdrop. But if they have more funds to spare they'd choose bounty. Why? Airdrops seem cheap shot because not only you will gain almost nothing, you are also asked for your sensitive information (recently). While bounties tend to have better respect gained not only from the bounty hunters but also for willing investors. My opinion only.
