I purchased a Visa Gift card from the site https://www.bitcoin2cc.com roughly 4 months ago and just recently went to activate it.

To my surprise I find out the card has already been activated and in fact used by another person.

I doubt I will be able to get my Bitcoins or my $200 visa Gift Card back but I thought I'd let you guys know of my experience with https://www.bitcoin2cc.com/

I've tried looking for the user here (No longer exists to my knowledge) and emailed him but no reply.

Conviently his site is down as well. Not sure if other users have reported similar events, but I share mine. Very disappointing.

Madhatter...

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable.  I never believe them.  If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins.  I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion.  Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice.  Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

I sent him a message via that name, but it did not show up in my outbox so I'm not sure if it got sent.
