He has run off with the funds for a year now, and shown that the message he posted on his websites about processing refunds was a lie.

After some of us over on reddit started to talk about launching a legal suit, the bitspend scammer deleted his known reddit account and made one called "Hollywood_mark". Shortly after he made these posts begging for bitcoins and asking for legal advice.


He also posted an update on bitspend.net

I took a screencap of his reddit posts before he deletes his account. Note all he talks about is marijuana. Well he also made a marijuana board game, under opspark LLC. http://www.opspark.org/thehighlife.html

I'm a registered ccw holder, I'm not going to put myself in a situation like that. A business address visit is one thing, but i cannot in good conscience go to someone's residence like that.
