I trade depending on the volume of the coins I buy, and some of the coins I traded was divided into two strategy first I hold in a

long term then the second one is I applied day trade to get some profit every day.

Now many have decided to keep their coins as long as possible and it's true. But for me the best strategy is to invest part of the crypto currency for the long-term perspective, and for the most part crypto currencies to trade in the market and multiply it.

ALL the traders that i know, just start a new account, they setup that account, and start trading in there without any issues at all. I am more than confortable by doing the same.

  I can understand what you are trying to say, but there are also traders who track their investment for a regular time period so that they get best out of their investment. I am using a strategy for trend trading entries and hold them till the trend is not broken over there on the price chart. I think we should always follow a trend trading strategy for getting the best results in our trading within a short time period.

The not so good trade was experienced by me in this situation but looking for another way to buy more of today's best coins at very cheap prices, and wait until the market gets better, not to take the risk of just trading occasionally with a little news well, without excessive loss.

I think you wrongly understand the crypto investment because you have the responsibility of choose the potential platform so you must pick the good coin. After 5 to 6 month we should expect some good hype so I will earn more profit on my investment. If you know that kind of special coin in your experience just explain the past 5 years growth.

Then that is not trading, its about investing and holding for long term. There are some coins that is worth holding for in the long run, just like NEM its value is pretty actractive and for sure if you invest on this coin right now, in the next 5 years your profit will be great.

Do you mean they make invest in crypto by long term?  For me I prefer to chooce doing day trading,  because by doing this will be possible to make montly profit. Long term investment  only for people who does not have times times to manage their investment. So far my trading activity make little profit, but I will keep learning from mistake in trading to increase my profit.

I call it investment using long term period, mostly only buy top 3 from the list because top list have bigger chance to survive. Actually I want use that strategy but I only have small capital, in this cases bigger fund is needed. I only use short - medium term period and replace it into top 5 coins. Have 1 - 2 years patience and get 20% profit is really good for me. As long you can enjoy the journey, any strategy will be fine.

Trading does not mean that you buy a coin and wait a few years will change your life. You should trade all the time, you will earn more than wait a few years

I totally agree with you, I think investing all for the long terms does not make any sense because you miss the opportunities in the short term.

I really don't understand your question, do you mean that the coins just existed for 5 years without any trades or volumes. If that is that case then exchanges should have de-listed them by now. Care you share what coins you are talking about here? Perhaps what you are describing is a coin that didn't remain dormant for 5 years, maybe just a few trades here and there but then suddenly pump up by certain groups to make a lot of profits. If you are lucky enough to get in before or even bought it in the beginning then for sure it would make sense that you can also make tons of money from it. That's the beauty of what we call "HODL".

Your statement is confusing. I, myself to is doing that, I buy coins and I just left it there for quiet a while then I would sell it if it goes up and do it again until I got a lot of Bitcoin.

I would be careful with this approach. This worked maybe a few years ago when bitcoin and crypto was not famous at all. Today scammers are aware that many invest in anything and hope that they will be rich in a few year. This doesn't work.

I was also too late for the gold times of crypto and therefore had no extra ordinary trades.

I believe the OP means long term investment, for the people that believe in an ICO usually they will aim for long term, or for the people that don't have time to focus on the market movement, then long term investment is really suitable, for myself I do both, I keep some of the special coin that I think got potential for long term, and for short term I usually search for the top 10 coin, or I trade infamous coin when there are events

I prefer longer term investments because it does not take up too much of my time to keep track of the market but the effect is also great. The market is showing signs of improvement and the coins that I bought during the downturn have increased quite well.

I think that at this time we can still trade and profit, it can be seen that the market is constantly fluctuating and difficult to guess, bitcoin prices can continuously decline at any time and you should be careful. I think that with a bottomless market, the long-term investment is very risky, and you will lose a lot of money if the bitcoin price goes down for years.
