I think this article should boost the morale of bitcoin users. According to this CNBC article, despite bitcoin having a rough year, bitcoin supporters including financial experts, tech investors and CEOs remain excited and still see the digital currency breaking its record highs from last year. One CEO even referred to Bitcoin as digital gold.

Despite what the general media says, it’s definitely good that these respected experts in the finance world are expressing their support for the digital currency. This is good news and a big step forward, right? This could help influence others into accepting crypto as well. What do you think?

2nd richest man Warren Buffet said Bitcoin will end up badly.

Yeah, while Warren Buffet is a brilliant investor, he is not from this technological generation. I want to write a bit and vent about why Warren Buffet isn't right about everything and why he couldn't be more wrong about Bitcoin. He doesn't understand something like Bitcoin. And no, I am not just saying it because "he's an old man and just doesn't understand it." That's only a small reason, there are many other factors at play. It appears as if he takes it at face value and says "oh this internet thing people are buying are dumb! It's just an internet thing, it produces no value, why buy it?" when obviously Bitcoin is much more than that.

Chamath Palihapitiya put it best when he talks about Warren Buffet's negative comments on Bitcoin. Warren Buffet himself said to define a circle of competency and stay within that circle. As Chamath said, Bitcoin is not in Warren Buffets circle of competency. It's actually not even in the same world as his circle of competency. It is an error for him to comment on Bitcoin as if it is just some bubble with no utility and no value. Bitcoin is a brand new invention that has only been around for the last 9 years. Even with Warren Buffet's investing expertise, the world is significantly different now than what it was when he was just starting out. Mainly because of the internet. Information spreads much more quickly and trends catch on near instantaneously. Frankly, the generation that was born with the internet around (or was a young adult when the internet was taking off) is vastly different than any of the generations before.

This millennial generation would much rather invest in Bitcoin than invest in gold. A very large amount of gold's value is purely from speculation, while a fraction of that value is actually from industrial use cases. The younger generation will continue to invest in Bitcoin over gold because that is what we have grown up with. Digital things in an interconnected, digital world. We are used to this and actually prefer this over anything else because it is just plain better. That is why so many industries have been disrupted by the internet (taxis [Uber], phonebooks [Facebook, Google], television [Netflix, Hulu], Landlines [cellphones/smartphones], encyclopedias [Wikipedia], etc). The younger generation adopts this technology first, then everyone else follows. The new paradigms then slowly work its way back in time to the older generations and they begin to use it after years and years of it being around. Some actually never change.

The invention of the internet has irreversibly changed the world and therefore the way that every single person thinks. Bitcoin is the same exact way, and millennials love it. Bitcoin is disrupting a much larger industry and because of that, it does have a huge target on its back. Thank's to Bitcoins anti-fragility it has been able to grow and thrive. It will continue to do so as more young (<18) people grow older and pick Bitcoin over gold, and the older generation eventually does the same. This happens with every. single. technological innovation/trend.

The reasons why cause warren are supporting market stock and he dont want to lose investors and he wanted to influence more people to keep stay with market stock.

With many expert say bitcoin have a future and able to grow even into 60k it makes more sure to hold all of my coins.

the worse news hit bitcoin is from the intellectuals and the richest people in this country as well as the technologists, I guess they just want the fall of bitcoin prices and fear their reputation but whatever their opinion of bitcoin, the richest people and technologists in the world believe that bitcoin is the future of many more of them

I would agree with you. Warren Buffet said bad for Gold also. That is how they take DOW Jones to 25,000.

Bitcoin will end up badly for sure, the real question is when it will end.The minority of the financial experts are excited, but I couldn`t care less about them. They are just a crowd that follows the trends. If the current bitcoin price was 20,000 USD ,all those "excited" experts would scream "bubble, scam, speculation, run away and don`t put your money in bitcoin".

Bitcoin will end up badly for sure,

how are you sure about that?
bitcoin is new and it is the first of its kind. it is the only decentralized money which some people still consider experimental but there is no way of being sure about it ending badly!!! all the evidence points to a better future for bitcoin and continuing stronger than ever in the near future and far future. yes there is also a chance of it ending badly but only a small chance and with all the effort put into improving bitcoin that chance is closer to zero.

Don't worry about what others are saying, they are nothing more than a bunch of hello-when-can-I-sell-at-$50,000 minded people.

Those who are here for the money will end badly, because they one way or another will lose patience and sell out of free will, or they will panic sell at a loss. It happened years ago and is still happening right now, and will continue to happen for many more years. Coins always flow into stronger hands, and we should be happy with that.

yes there is also a chance of it ending badly but only a small chance and with all the effort put into improving bitcoin that chance is closer to zero.
There is nothing more than it being an option that Bitcoin will end badly. The odds of that to become reality are as high as Chuck Norris being Satoshi and Trump at the same time. It is technically possible, but close to impossible at the same time.

Bitcoin isn't perfect money, never will be, but at least it's better than all the fiat money we are dealing with today, and isn't based on debt. The fact that no one can seize your assets or block your transactions is reason enough to use Bitcoin, and more people will appreciate Bitcoin for that in the coming years.

Finally someone in the media is reporting the truth buffet and jack have called for bitcoins head but have failed miserably, now the community is smarter and can see why they're giving such unwarranted statements it's important to understand the bankers are behind it and these are paid statements, so I'm glad when people defy them and speak truth about bitcoins.

Yes if financial advisers is excited about bitcoin then definitely its a good sign for who is trying to invest in crypto currency, but warren buffet says this is the end of bitcoin because he support stock market and don't wanna loose customers who are ready to invest in cryptocurrency because he is making peoples panic and trying to He not loose his customers for stock market.

When we allude that it can end, are we saying that the whole business would be gone too? Or are there other coin or coins that we come up to carry on with the cryptocurrency or is going to die?

At last, CNBC posted something beautiful on their headlines not like those articles that they keep on posting that's causing a lot of panic and fear.

Chamath experienced on how bitcoin grew for the past years and has bet on it, just like most of us here we do experienced how bitcoin growth for the past years so no one can change what we have tasted.

2nd richest man Warren Buffet said Bitcoin will end up badly.

I have heard of that also, but there are many different opinions. AS for the stock market he wont loose customers, as long as he stays on track. Its not important not to cause panic and no one will panic.

Nobody here would believe this. First because he can't know the future. Second is, as what he said why he didn't invest in bitcoin is that he doesn't understand it. This is just speculation. Bitcoin is just 9 years from the time it was made. Just give it another one or two decades and let's see if it dies or not.

The question we need to ask ourselves on the issue of Mr. Buffet is he his actively involve in bitcoin. I guess he his trying to protect his interest in stock markets where his majority of his focus his.
We should be happy others financial experts had different opinion.

When did Warren Buffet become God? I’ve noticed how so many people take his words so seriously. Guys… there is power in numbers okay. Goggle what "People Power" did in the history of the Philippines.
If society continues to use bitcoin and continues to trust in it and its technology, then it would be safe to say that digital currency will be in our future. Trying to stop technology is almost an impossible feat.

It's a very low price but we should not be pessimistic about it. In fact Bitcoin is still ahead and this is a good opportunity to invest because its price is very low

Well, different people has their own perspective and belief in life. But the huge of people that are already experts in this fields can be serve as one of our basis when it comes in the movements of bitcoin. If they are excited and still believe that it will reach or maybe surpass the value of it from last year well I think it is possible to happen. However, a true believer of this system never had an idea that bitcoin will be end soon and still have the thoughts and believes that it will be recover again and performing well in the next few days.

2nd richest man Warren Buffet said Bitcoin will end up badly.

He is not the only experts and we all know this guy is old stuff and don't care about technology I read that this guy does not even use email, so why we care about his ignorance, even if Bitcoin get massive adoption he will stay say the old thing because he is an unbeliever from the start.
