So who must give you merit pints for scam disclosure? The forum administration? The community? It is not really clear to me. If your info is valuable, then try to publish it to public and see what you get

It's possible to get merit, because if you expose a project that's a fraud, and you get high level of recognition, then they might give you a merit.
However, this is not necessarily achieved, please note.

It is our duty here to report to authorities if we found something irregular and fraudulent activities. We should not expect in return because the more you shout for merit, likely you will not get one.

There's a chance you will get merit by exposing scam projects. Just try until you get famous in scam accusations section  and eventually get the merits you deserve.

if you found out na may scam sa isang project at ikaw mismo ang makakakita non pwede mo syang ipunta sa scam accusation na section wag sa local, tsaka dapat matbay ang proof mo kasi di basta basta ang maglabas ng ganong accusation, pero kung mapapatunayan mo yan at makakapag bigay ka ng matibay na ebidensya e malaki ang potensyal na pwde kang makakuha ng merit.

I really agree with your idea. for people who expose a scam project, because by exposing a scam project and it will save a lot of people from falling into a project that will cheat the participants

that can be actually a good idea, thought crypto is a online based thing that's why the users have to deal with this scam and security issue and unfortunately the new arrivals became the easy victim so if we use the right person merit to expose this all scam project it will be helpful for the market

I think that would give enough people a reason to give you their merits - you'd be saving them a lot of money and time - but you cant just go around throwing out accusations - you have to build a strong case

Once I discovered fraud and wrote to the administration. And received such an answer
"Q: Why haven't you banned <insert scammer username here> who is an obvious scammer?
A: Possible (or real, not for me to decide) scams are not moderated to prevent moderator abuse. If we start picking out which ones we call "scammers" and ban, we would make a lot of decisions based on biased opinions."

- Many will give you merit if you will expose scam with elaborated discussion and with enough proofs
- If it is one of the popular ICO currently collecting millions, you might also get some backfire from people who have already invested in them

But if you are telling truth than you might save few millions from other investors who were willing to invest there. So go ahead and don't try to be hungry for merit just keep on posting helpful posts you will get merits.

Merit you can get for a high-quality post, read how to do it in posts, and do not try to find someone scam. And I would not trust the junior members.

finding a fraud or scam site will give reward to the finder. but this task need intense amount of research and work also it might need some investment too. the person doing this task should be careful and should think before taking the decision.

I think it would be great if people gave merit to those that exposed scams but I doubt very much that it would work very well in practice. The only way that I have seen people getting merit is by cheating (which will get you account frozen). Or by sucking up to the few people who give merit (which will destroy your self respect). I would recommend just giving up on trying to get merit, it is a rigged game that favours a few.
