It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I'd like to save some money for the next-level card
Also, if it's not the scam, NVidea will give to us, to customers-miners, a new-level card in this August
Hope for it, really

A new series of video cards will be expensive in the first months. Another problem is the software for mining. Developers will have to optimize the software for mining on new chips. This also takes time.
Asics, FPGA  very quickly reduce the profit on the GPU.
If I were investing in mining, I would do it now
