the price is pretty good now, want to get some cheap coin. but not sure what's the quickest way to deposit UDS, international wire is too slow, only options are redeem code and private key, anyone know how to buy redeem code or private key?

Are you sure they are solvent? I think not.
I think they will not reopen withdrawals anytime soon. Their statemets imply that some of the client BTC withdrawals may have been made twice (my understanding). So there can be actual shortage of BTC.

Whatever money you give to them now you will never see back again. You've been warned. There's a reason why the price is that low.

it is too high risk to deposit fiat or btc to MtGox now: they are in maintenance mode.
https://www.mtgox.com/img/pdf/20140215-BTC-transfers.pdf

Consider that all other mayor BTC/FIAT exchangers solved the “transaction malleability” issue in just 2-3 days...  while mtgox has been the first to declare problems due to “transaction malleability” issue (discovered in 2011) and they actually are still under "mainteinance" with BTC deposits/withdrawals still blocked.

Besides 68% mtgox users declare that they do not receive their FIAT withdrawals in a short time

I believe no risk no gain, current price worth taking some risk.

I believe no risk no gain, current price worth taking some risk.

to buy 1 BTC at 240 USD ?

this is not a real and credible quotation, considering all other BTC exchangers sell 1 BTC at around 650 USD.

This quotation comes from an exchanger who is actually in declared "maintenance mode" https://www.mtgox.com/img/pdf/20140215-BTC-transfers.pdf
and that is experiencing serious problems both in fiat and btc withdrawals

Of course it's easy to deposit. If you put your money in gox now, you might as well throw it in the trash

no risk no gain

True.  Smiley

current price worth taking some risk.

IMHO, the risk is way too high, and you will probably get nothing back...
