Most people beat about the bush when it comes to the truth because they want to save someone's face,gain a favour etc but it cannot be hidden forever.Sometimes it comes out at a more painful point than the initial situation.

dont be too quick to judge . There would be a certain point in time where you would want to say the truth to save a sorry a***. However you might not have the courage to do so.

This is something which I hope is spread in the day where political correctness rules and people are ostrisized for speaking the truth EVEN WHEN it offends people. If we hide people from the truth all the time, all it's going to do is hurt them in the long run when they're exposed to it.
These same people that have hidden the truth for so long and have made our world so politically correct, are also causing the largest backlash I have seen in a LONG TIME. This is outrage at unprecedented levels. This is the reason for the rise of populist candidates around the world, and the rise of Trump in America.
The truth must never be shielded from a people, if this is done it will only hurt them in the long run.

The truth might not always be appealing and it’s ugly at certain times, but
it’s best to say it or reveal things on a manner that transcends honesty.
I agree that the more the truth is hidden or delayed it’s just gonna make
things a lot worse or it’s just gonna deprive a lot of people in numerous
ways possible.

There are reasons why other chose to hide the truth. You don't know what's the emotional of each person telling them what's the truth that they didn't know.
Its a situation where you have to decide but you have also to conclude that you can destroy those relationships that are calmly together though there's something that was hidden from one of them.

No secrets can be hidden forever. The truth will always prevail and what is true will always come out. Thus, we must tell it as soon as possible and do not attempt anymore to hide it. However, that claim seems so easy to say but difficult to do. It is because of the situation and proper timing concerns. Especially, when the one who is holding the truth is torn between the what is right today and what is really right; what is right and what is convinient; what is good for them and what is good for the other. There are many factors that affects their decision of revealing the truth. But at the end of the day, we must do what is really right, no matter how hurtful or painful are those.

There is a saying "integrity is everything, secure it with your life "there is no how one can gain integrity with telling the truth in all situations no matter how it hurts. Truth need to be told anyhow even though it will affect the person in question

truth hurts. Our words are sharper than knives so we all have to be careful on what we say. Some truths hurts a lot and it may take courage for someone so dear to us to say it especially if that truth is negative, however, there are several ways to say it. it may hurt but if it is for the better, say it anyway. |

The truth shall prevail even if it hurts. Somerimes we do telling a lie for someone that we doesnt wanted to get hurt. But the truth is thruth and no matter what happen the truth will come out. And we will end up hurting a person for not telling the truth.

indeed the truth must be revealed and painful, but there are some truths that I think should be kept secret because this is a disgrace that will destroy the intregritas in a country. if such a person is ordinary but when state disgrace is something that is shameful and will destroy the confidence of his own country, such a truth must be covered |

Offcourse , it is really good to be honest but i think, a person should be aware enough about the consequences before he speak the bitter truth out. And i guess there exist a better way to do everything so that it wont hurt anybody

Trust in this context is all about putting into effect reliance, confidence, and with truth.
It is reciprocal, meaning that what one gives out is what one receives.
Therefore, if trust hurts, it means that no one should be exercising those traits mentioned here above.

Although I agree that there are time when we have to be blatantly honest, I also believe in the saying, "if you dont have anything nice to say, just dont say it anymore". I think its just how you tell the truth. Your tone of voice and the intent.

They say that truth will set you free, but there are certain points in our lives that we have to tell a little white lie for good reasons or maybe to protect someone or to keep someone from getting hurt, but then you can never keep the truth from coming out, so lets just say that others depend on time to reveal it.

I personally feel people aren’t strong enough to take the truth - they want an easy way in life and always want to somehow not face reality and the TRUTH. Many people feel by not talking about issues and confronting their problems, they are solving the problem - when in reality they are only making it easy for themselves.

I think that the connotation of truth hurts is applicable in some situations, not in anyway. It is because, truth sometimes is a cause for us to be just aware of what was really hapoening. But most of the time, truth indeed truly hurts. Knowing the truth behind something might hutt us in the way that we didn't expect it to be the truth. Truth should always be exposed as we should not be masked off by lies. It is much better to hear those painful truth rather than comforting lies. Being hurt is being human, the thing is that at least we are in the good side on what happened.

It is better to tell the truth than to hide it, because keeping the truth from someone makes you weak & it shows that you don't really care for that person's feelings, you are becoming selfish.

No matter what manner you state the truth, whether be it in an amicable or in an angry manner, it's really annoying and it hurts. It pierces even unto the innermost chamber of one's soul, but you have to say it anyway, and it deserves acceptance. I'd rather be told a disheartening truth rather be told a flattering lie, 'coz at the end of the day, truth will always come out, and there's nothing we can do but to accept it and improve or change what needs to be improved or changed.
