After this obvios manipulation and all this auto sell trying to cause the feeling of crashing+people yelling sell sell--- how much time you think is left to start the panic buy stage? Few hours left to mtgox announcement and some dolphins and whales playing to sell in order to buy lower still going on.. any moment the dolphing and whales are going to start buying before gox announcement and WELL.. some of them are gonna LOSE BIG TIME.. because as u can see there is no btc left on the way up.. and even many of those u can see are just in order to fake a selling pressure. Tic tac tic tac..

This is what is gonna happen next hours.. when panic buy start.

given that it's only 10pm sunday in japan, and gox's history of late announcements, i'd say we still have almost a full day before we hear anything.

Night gathers, and now my bitcoinwisdom watch begins.

Need new money to reach the exchange.  This could take days.  Need confidence to return on MtGox.  This could take weeks.

I would buy when this forum is full of angst and anguish about the falling price, with people blaming MtGox for destroying bitcoin and generally behaving very very naughty.

This is going to be you in a few hours when the $540 support fails on Bitstamp, and Gox hits $100.

There will be a panic buy and/or panic sell tonight, and it will happen when Gox opens withdraws, announces a short delay, or announces a long delay, or says nothing for a significantly long period of time (such that "Monday" is over in enough places in the world so that people will care). And, if gox opens withdraws, there will be a panic buy on gox, and if gox announces a long delay or doesn't say shit, there will be a panic sell on gox. However, all other results, including, but not limited to, what will happen on gox when a short delay is announced, and, what will happen on normal exchanges when a long delay is announced, and, what will happen on normal exchanges when withdraws are opened, are all wildcards, because they depend on what people think of gox's short delay message, and the relative powers of (A) the upward force caused by the panic buy on gox and (B) the downward force of people who bought on gox selling on other exchanges.

Thank you for reading my increasingly wordy posts.

I wonder if the people at Gox fully realize how hated they are and what a bad job they're doing?

Maybe they do, but the money makes it worth it.

By the end of next month at the latest we will have permanently left behind 3 digits. You can quote me on this.

Or so you would like to think.

All I see is a handful of relatively late adopters turning bearish......like me. But I was a late adopter that turned bearish 5 minutes into the bear market, not halfway through it, thankfully.

When the likes of you, JimboToronto, piramida, zeroday, Ibian, etc....start fearing that the end is nigh or holding Bitcoin is pointless. That is when it will be time to buy.

I wonder if the burglars who broke into my granny's wee hoose, and stole her jewels, her rainy day money, and my dear old grandads ashes, realise how hated they are and what a bad job they are doing?

Maybe they do, but.......

If you observe the forum today, it is about what you described. By the way, why anguish and not sadness? Anguish is a form of denial, sadness is accepting failure.

In terms of buying or selling outside of GOX I would consider it wise to ignore MTGOX's price altogether. Obviously not all have deduced this method yet. But it will become very apparent once MTGOX can't fulfill its obligations in a meaningful amount of time (i.e. more delays and broken promises).

LOL Keep waiting.

I can't speak for the others on your little list but I have no intention of selling. I don't forsee the end being nigh nor holding bitcoins being pointless.

The time to buy is during lows, which is why I bought some a few days ago and I'm waiting to buy some more when my fiat deposit clears after the Ontario long weekend. I may be a long-term bull but I can be bearish very short-term when the timing is right. I certainly didn't panic and sell when my $68 coins fell to only $50 though. I held and they're worth ten times that now.

How many of your coins were bought for double digits? Have you even read Satoshi's white paper? You sure have strong opinions for a clueless (relative) noob.

I am still hoping for more panic.

I have been buying and moving my BTC off of the exchanges once the buy goes through. Unfortunately I think we are toward the bottom, but maybe a quick panic sell if MtGox finally closes its doors will give me some more coin to sit on.

First seastead company actually selling sea homes: Ocean Builders https://ocean.builders  Of course we accept bitcoin.
