The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

That was an amusing read, while many of the events are quite plausible.

That was clearly typed with just one hand.  The other hand was, well, very busy!  Cheesy

I lost it at day 141:

"Anderson Cooper spends Bitcoins, live on CNN; he buys lunch."  Grin

On the exact day?  I would be very impressed with myself... especially if I got the Anderson Cooper one correct.

It was an enjoyable read. What I definitely noticed personally was an increase in people saying they will accept bitcoin as payment on CL albeit still very small. It's a start.  Smiley

That is a lot of events for the next year. I would be very impressed with not only you and your future seeing abilities, but BitCoin itself if this proved to be true!
I love the idea of $50 BitCoins by this time next year!

I like how you are imagining the future of bitcoin. You are proposing a positive future, which is a good thing. Just a thought: bitcoin has unique qualities never before used. Events that highlight these strengths will define the future of bitcoin.

Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.

Very realistic, everything on that list is likely to happen.  Everyone please take out a second mortgage and/or max out your credit cards to buy BTC before it's too late.  Then buy some tenebrix with those BTC for good measure.

Day 366 - "The Manipulator" pulls out and Bitcoin value drops to $0.01 in the matter of a few hours.
