- It is OK to have multiple accounts as long as you're not shit-posting, cheating or creating an army of them. Having said that, I don't see the reason one needs to create more than 2 accounts for daily forum activities.

People can accuse you for multiple accounts if you are sending crypto currencies back and forth to the address which is used in some other's profiles.Or admins can watch your multiple accounts from IP address I think. If someone accusing you without proper proof then you no need to worry about those.

I know that. I read rules since I started here. I don't have any other account. I can even barely attend to my bounty campaigns why would I even have 4-5 more accounts. How do you even consider a post with 3-4 well constructed sentences and is related to the topic a shit post?

Yes I am aware of that. But I don't have an issue with all of the violation that you've stated. The only basis that they presented so far is that those accounts linked to me have a day later or earlier registration date to the date I registered. Those accounts aren't even the same date of my registration. Many people might register on the same day or week since BTT is a big forum site. They can't even present to me more solid proofs that those accounts are mine. Then there is a possibilty that I will be given a red trust!

How do you know if someone is linked with another account in the forum?

There are multiple ways for this, The most likely one is that you use the same address on both accounts. Contact details, Country, Ip and so on.

Quote
What is the basis for branding such accusation?

Mostly you will get in trouble when you exploit Signature / Airdrops / Bounty Campaigns. Others may include, Giving a loan to your alt accounts and using to boost their trust. The list is pretty big one.

Quote
If accused, what can we do about it?
If it is proven that both email/btc addresses are of the same user and he is exploiting a campaign then there isn't much you can do about that. Unless a user is blaming you without any connection, your chances of getting free from the red trust are very low.

Quote
How do we make an appeal? To whom?
You can't, Trust isn't moderated. Anyone can leave a feedback. You can only appeal to the person who is accusing you.

This alone can't be the reason for the red trust imo.

Most of the DT memebrs won't give negative trust for this reason only, and having the multiple accounts is also okay in BCT,you will be given negative trust only if you are using the same two accounts in a same campaigns.

I believe you must have gotten answer to all of your queries by virtue of the responses that have been posted now. The one I want to emphasis is

How do we make an appeal? To whom?

The moment you are caught cheating a campaign with your multiple accounts, posting garbages, engaging in trust or merit trading, the simple thing is just forget it. You can make appeal if only your account didn't get the sledge hammer of ban, but I doubt if its going to adhered to as it would only make matter worse and at that point, the excuse of "I don't know" won't be tenable.

So it means that we can use multiple accounts and it is ok with it.

What about if full family is using the same computer but having each and every one an account and some of them even sharing the wallet means address is different but same wallet like Electrum is installed but each account have its own address separate. Is it legit.

As i was introduced by my friend and he is having internet parlor and he introduced lot of them about bitcoin and how to earn through this forum. But they all are using in same parlor. So will it be problem if in future any user finds it that they all are connected. they are connected but no one is joining the same campaign. Every one is using different campaign.

Is it legit to use it in this forum.

OP, sorry for hijacking your thread, but one idea came to my head after I saw your post.
We have many useful guides - how to report posts, how to earn merit and similar. But we have some serious problems on Bitcointalk - multi accounts abusing bounties, copy pasters and account sales. Many users are doing it without any concequences. I would love to see if someone would make a guide about catching of multi accounts, copy pasters and sold accounts. I would really like to help to search for such users, but I don't know to do that. I only know about connected addresses and that's it.

Copy pasters, use this tool: https://smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker/

Sold accounts: Just check in invitees and accounts.

Catching multiple accounts: Look for proofs like having similar names, similar registration timing, posting habits , post quality, unusual merit exchange, multiple accounts using the same addresses, participating in similar bounties and sending shitcoins from different addresses of different accounts to one main address.

What about if full family is using the same computer
I find this extremely sad, that a family would have to rely on the unpredictable income from any "job" you could find on bitcointalk, and that there's parents who are probably training kids to be shitposters and thereby providing the perhaps false impression that these bounties are going to be around forever.  They might not be, and there's always a chance someone in the family will get greedy and screw it up for everyone.  It's this sort of thing that the forum needs less of, but it seems to be increasingly common for entire fucking neighborhoods to be earning money here.

All I can say is that if you get caught with multiple people in the same bounty, using the same ETH address, you're going to get tagged and no excuse you can make is going to fly.  Then comes the Sir why u give me redtrust pls forgive me BULLSHIT that always works against the accused.

Also, I don't know why OP is asking this question, as it doesn't appear that he has any negatives from anyone.

I am asking this question because a certain Bounty Campaign I participated is having this issue with me. This is the first time I encountered this problem. The auditors/bounty manager branded me with multi-accounting and there is a possibility that they are going to give me a red trust and not pay my bounty reward. Not paying and giving red trust for something I didn't even commit. They can't even provide me their EVIDENCE since they conducted an "investigation". This isn't fair!

The auditors/bounty manager accused me with multi-accounting and they are going to give me a red trust and not pay my bounty reward. Not paying and giving red trust for something I didn't even commit. They can't even provide me their EVIDENCE since they conducted an "investigation". This isn't fair!
If someone give negative trust for some reason then it won't affect your trust rating because it is just untrusted feedback, only the DT members can red paint you for some reason. If a campaign is not following their rules and not giving the rewards even after you completed your work then you can open scam accusation against them with necessary proofs then they will get negative trust. Care to name who you're talking about?  There's not much that can be done either way, but someone might be able to call his attention to this thread and perhaps he can address it here--but I suspect you don't want to call attention to yourself.

I'd say just move on and find another bounty.  The threat of negative feedback was probably an empty one anyway, and most bounty managers, to my knowledge, don't make false accusations so as to deny payment and/or blacklist members.  Either way, I'd be interested to hear his side of the story.

The Admins and project's team doesn't want to reveal the auditor's BTT account because the auditor wanted it to be private. These "Auditors" are a group of active and trusted members here in the forum as they have claimed. I'm waiting for the ANN thread for the result of their investigation. If they don't present any credible and solid proof for their accusations then would you lend me a hand to clear up my reputation?
