Hello, I have few questions about PCI-E risers (extenders). After a lot of asking for advices on Internet, I didn't get anyhting usable.
Very quickly, one friend and I need about 100 risers (extenders) - half of them 16x-16x and half of them 1x-16x. We would take "powered" risers just for any case.
What I need is some EXACT links for good and cheap risers. All what I've manage to get from others is "look on Ebay", "go to Alibaba", "here you have some link but I don't know are they good" etc... Because what I've heard about those risers, I don't want to buy them blindly and spend a lot of money for some garbage. I've heard thet often 50% of risers doesnt work or they work but with problems etc..
My requirements for risers are:
1) they have powered molex or SATA connectors
2) they dont cause problems with graphic cards (OK, I know that a lof of them will not work properly so we will buy 30% more then we need)
3) they dont cost 100 USD per piece
(yeah, I've seen a lot of dealers which buy in China for few dollars, and then they sell them for 100 USD...)
4) they cost about 5-10 USD per 1 piece (15 USD at top!).
5) they can come in EU (Croatia) relatively quickly (in 5-7 days), even at little bigger cost for mail.
