Hey Godex Team, is there a chance that you can list Piratechain $arrr on Godex.io ?
ARRR is a Zcash Fork but fully shielded and secured by the BTC Blockchain via dPoW there are no transparent transactions, only the new fresh mined Pirates goes on a transparent adress for audit - it have a higher AnonSet as Zcash and many other benefits.

I was always using SimpleSwap and today I wanted to give it a try for Godex. And that was bad decision.

I wanted to exchange Monero to BTC.

It says it's complete but I didn't receive my BTC.
And Godex support says in email: "unfortunately, we can not refund the coins that we did not received"

So, it's easy to check if they received it or not. From transaction link you can see destination address, which is:

With regards to your platform which due to no KYC verification may receive a lot of traffic, though the use of no KYC in itself is questionable since most governments want to implement KYC on exchanges, how long does your rate stays fixed for? This is potentially interesting given the market volatility.

From that time I am using MorphToken and SimpleSwap which I recommend as very good, fast and trustworthy service, never had a problem like with Godex I described in previous posts.

Their Trustpilot seems kinda sus since they have like houndreds of 5-star reviews and a few legit looking really bad reviews about coins not being transferred.

Well, their page has been flagged by trustpilot lol. I'd look for an alternative in the Instant exchanges thread

As you mentioned the connection to other CEXs I remember reading that most of these sites like Godex just take your order to a big exchange and therefore have such huge spreads as you are paying multiple transaction fees…

OP, it would be good to re-upload images using another image hosting service. It is recommended to use talkimg.com. For some time now, ibb and some other image host services have had certain restrictions according to Bitcointalk, so the images will not load every time.

I think Godex needs to add some upper limitations when exchanging coins, it's impossible to have no limits and publicly write about that like this:



I went ahead with testing and exchanging 10 million Bitcoins for monero, this was accepted, I received bitcoin deposit address, and Godex claims I should receive 4008405458 XMR.
In my second test I tried with 22 million Bitcoins and I was again accepted by Godex, this is not realistic at all, since there is no that much bitcoin in existence.
This should be fixed and corrected.

Hmm, you've raised a good point, it can impact the credibility and reliability of the service even though it's a small bug. Implementing input constraint limits could be a simple yet effective solution. I'm not sure if the team has something else in mind with supply validation, but even basic input constraints should do the trick. I don't have that much amount of Bitcoin Holding, so TBH in my view even a two-digit limit would be more than enough for most users like me.

The withdrawal amount for the affiliate program is quite high, hehe let me calculate if I invite 10 people and they make 1 transaction per day worth $1k it will be around 13 days to reach 0.01BTC accumulation, and the gas fee would be around 1/5 th of affiliate reward if you are lucky enough..
