You do understand that practically every government has been borrowing money, including the more socialist leaning countries and even the countries that are far right. Borrowing money is something which has happened and will continue to happen until the end of time for countries. I also don't understand the fact that people will always blame the President in power during debt periods, as the President has little to no power when it comes to the budget negoiations -- as this is something that the Congress has a LARGE amount of power on.

Check out the world debt clock -- http://www.usdebtclock.org/world-debt-clock.html -- you'd see that even though America has the largest amount of debt, we're not the largest amount in debt when comparing our debt to our GDP. So our debt doesn't worry me as much as let's just say, Japan.

It surprises me how he is NOT perceived as someone that was in the pocket of big business throughout his campaign and presidency.

Yeah that guy sure robbed the tax payers blind. Wounder if they every think about the dept and that they are responsible for paying it.
It´s only logical thou they did sponsor ISIS and those weapons and transports costs $$$
All the new military projects and surveillance initiatives against his own population also costs shit loads not to mention the prolonged war situation in the middle east.

But some stands to gain big! The weapon companies and manufacturers of military vehicles as well as support companies that brings services to the military at the front are going rich as fuck.

The U.S budgett under trump signals no change, even more boost to military and more cuts from health and environmental protection programs, the companies have taken control over our goverments long ago. They dont give a fuck about Chicago or Detriot or any citizens really, very few are seen as a threat to their larger agenda.

He is not the guilty really, he just speaks for others and where bribed into power with their money, he is bought and just a puppet!

THey can't do otherwise. This is how the system is built. Until we switch onto other solutions to transfer wealth, we're doomed to borrow more to repay more.

If you, as a president, want money in the economy, you have to borrow.
If every country repaid their date right now, there would be no more money left in people's pockets.

I'm not surprised, and the one after Trump will borrow even more. This is what is going to happen.

They could demand zero interest from the FED and forbid fractional reserve lending, problem gone. This is how it use to be done and inflation never exceeded 5 % prior to allowing it or leaving the gold standard. If we also demand it to be backed up by resources like oil and gold, it would not be printable like this, inflation could not be hidden!

So we could fix this right away and just delete the corrupt dept like Iceland did, declare them illegal and now do the steps i mentioned in a night, fixed!

But yeah, there are hinders, humans that do not see this as clear as they should and blame presidents or what ever, they do not run anything. We the population agrees upon this system, we pay our taxes and build the prisons, weapons and banks used to suppress us. We are being used against our selves, no one else is to blame then the tax paying populations!!

Obama Attacks Wealthy For Big Houses Before Returning To His $8 Million Mansion

"Right now, I'm actually surprised by how much money I got," Obama said of the more than $20 million he earned between 2005 and 2016.

Obama then chided wealthy individuals for excess, saying, "There's only so much you can eat. There's only so big a house you can have. There's only so many nice trips you can take. I mean, it's enough."

"We're going to have to worry about economics if we want to get democracy back on track," Obama continued "We're going to have to consider new ways of thinking about these problems, like a universal income, review of our workweek, how we retrain our young people, how we make everybody an entrepreneur at some level."

Yogg said it best. This is how the whole system is built. The government actually borrows money that is made out of thin air. They are charged interest on this money, which is literally impossible to pay back because the only way to get more money is to borrow it. As far as I know, there is not enough money in the world to pay back all "world debt". It's an absurd system really and it makes many people "rich" for doing next to nothing. I think that the fact that the US borrows so much money is one of the reasons they always make sure they have the strongest army. They've got to make sure that nobody would dare call them out on their ridiculous excessive behavior.

The current system financial system is built on debt.  Without debt the house of cards would all collapse.  There are more debts than there are money to pay back the debts.  This will continue forever until the financial system is completely changed.  The majority of money is created by banks and fractional reserve lending.

I don't know how you're able to read through my actual educated response and go 'bad answer' but so be it with that.

You're not able to blame the President for everything that ends up happening with the debt, the budget, and so on and so forth. While I personally am not a fan of Obama, nor was I a fan of him during his presidency -- I don't think it's fair to fully put the blame on him for congresses decisions. They should be held accountable as well.

Debt is a part of a capitalist society, it's not a horrid part.. God I don't know what you're trying to do here.
