I'm not sure what i want to do with it yet, i'd like to just get a grasp on something to see if i like it. Any recommendations?

python would be a good start for wide applications, r for data science but I think c# would be a good practice since visual studio can easily be accessible

What about javascript? I feel like it has way more use-cases than python.

Programming courses usually start with C. After you master regular C, the rest comes easy.
If you are interested in getting the best idea of programming possible C is what I recommend.
If you just want to program anything as quickly as possible, maybe C#.
I wouldn't recommend Python as a first language, but of course you can do whatever you want, there isn't a huge difference.
