Hello all,

Decided to write a review for Ritz Grand Casino, an online casino offering Bitcoin buyins and payouts. This is my first EVER review in this arena, so apologies if I step outside the accepted format Smiley Also please note that I have ONLY reviewed the slots...the table, card and roulette games are of no interest to me.

Casino name: Ritz Grand Casino

URL: www.ritzgrandcasino.com

Bonus code: hello220

Bets in: Ritz Grand "credits" - 1 BTC = 1000 Credits

Games offered: 4 x 5 reel slots, 3 levels of progressive jackpots. Also 1 x 3 reel slot, no progressive.

Min bets: Assuming you want to play all lines, min bets are 50 credits (i.e. 1 CR x 50 lines) for the progressives. This is 0.05 BTC per spin.

Cashing in:

Very simple indeed. You register with your email and a chosen username, then log in. The deposit section is a selection of fixed credit buys, ranging from 10 credits to thousands. The site then offers a payin BTC address, and after a few confirmations, you're ready to go. In my case it took less than 30 mins including registration and cashin confirmations. The only criticism I have with this system is that if you want to purchase an in-between amount you're out of luck. For example, the lowest amount is 10 credits, and the next is 25 credits. Tough luck if you want to have a punt for 15 credits (not that it would get you very far).

Cashing out:

No experience - I cashed in too little to be able to play for very long. But the site says 24-48 hours, which on the one hand is awesome (cashing out of online casinos can be a serious pain in the arse), but on the other hand seems a very long time for BTC transactions. Perhaps it's a license thing.

Gameplay:

There are 4 progressive games, all clones with different graphics. In this case, that is not a bad thing, as the games are all pretty good, and will keep you running for quite a while before you cash out or they kill you. Value is decent, and the quality is high. But one little thing....make sure you click "Fast Play" otherwise you will go insane. Without this option it's simply too slow. In-game bonuses and free spin options are great fun, and each variant has it's own little take on it, which fits with the game's setting.

Fairness:

No complaints here. I got alot of value out of my very small deposit. For the sake of less than $100, I saw alot of spins. This is a good thing.

Overall experience:

Great! If you have some decent BTC you don't mind having a bash with, this is probably the best BTC slot room out there. But it's not for the little guys. If you want to have 20 spins on one of the progressives with the minimum bet, it'll cost you a full Bitcoin. Now that's OK, if they're after biggish players, but don't go putting in your 0.01 BTC and expecting to have fun - you won't. In fact, on this site, you can't.

TL;DR

Great slots, a bit cookie cutter but that's fine. Fairness claim seems well-placed. Not for the small punter, make sure you have at least a couple of full BTC to have a go, otherwise you're gone too soon to enjoy it.

Hope this helps anyone considering it Smiley

Rit.

Update:  you would be pleased to know that all of our slots are just 0.01  credits per bet.

I tested the casino :

As you said you can't choose your btc deposit except if you pay 0.01xxBTC

It is written I need to deposit 22credit to enjoy the deposit bonus but it doesn't say if it will yet you the full deposit bonus so I took some time to find the info and it is written that you need to deposit at least 10% of the bonus to get a bonus so I chose to deposit 25credits for 0.025BTC; I need to bet 2698.50 CREDITS to be able to withdraw the bonus

They tell me I need to deposit 0.0253 and I will get 25.3credits, why not 25, I don't know!? But the deposit is available immediately which was nice so let's get started with some roulette

I have bet 400credits on the roulette and lost my deposit + the bonus but it is written I have wagered 0.02 (the free credit you get when you register) so far on my account page, I am afraid it is because I have bet on the roulette and I needed to bet on slots

There are a lot of games and they charge/close fast which is very nice, there are quite a few options like transfering money to other players for a 35% transfer fee but I don't understand who would use that or referring a player and getting 25% of his losses if you have at least 3 refs that deposit in a 2months span if I understood correctly

Overall good impression because of the large deposit bonus but you need to get use to the design and not being able to deposit any amount

EDIT :  "Rollover only applies to slots and no other games." It is very disappointing

I was told (in comments that he later deleted) that you cannot withdraw the bonus.  Just an FYI.

I think you are right : From the Terms :
Accounts with a rollover limit cannot withdraw.
Lets say you ended up with 500 in your balance after you placed 2200 in bets, from your original 200 given freely by the casino. At this point you can cash out your total balance minus their original 200 credits: 500-200=300
Can i withdraw my original funds before the rollover?
No, because the rollover gives you a bonus and in the bonus equation, your initial funds are considered too.
To be eligible for the  bonus, a min 10% of the bonus needs to be deposited.

You can keep the bonus money in your account to play it until you lose it but you can't withdraw it
Let's say you deposit 100 and you get a 200 bonus, if you go up to 1000 and you can withdraw you may only withdraw 780 and you can still play the 220 left and withdraw everything that is higher than 220 but what happened if you go down to 100 then deposit 50 then go up to 200 : you can't withdraw? it is a bit weird

Right, it's a non-withdrawable bonus WITH a massive rollover requirement.  That's not good.

The rollover requirement wouldn't be that much if you get bet on card games : x10 is not that much and getting a 1000% bonus on your deposit is pretty generous

It may be a bait tactic and it worked on me Tongue 0.0253 lost but I had fun, probably 13$ worth of fun
