Recently, I got negative trust for asking for merit, which I admit my mistake and apologized in DM as well as publicly in forum and still waiting for trust neutralization.  Going through this, I came to know negative trust only be reversed by the giver and no one else could even admins.  There, one concern made me scare that what happens if DT account got hacked and just went on negative trust and merit distribution spree.  Is that also irreversible?  If that happens not only account holder lose his/her account but it can also negatively effect in reputation of many other accounts.  Since it is irreversible by any other means, what will they do?

Admin can log into any account and can fix anything. However, a DT getting hacked will be a serious hack but the real owner can recover it very easily. All they will need is to the prove of ownership of the account.

Be happy be at peace. Looking forward to BTC at $1M

There are two levels of default trust members DT and DT-2,if DT member account got hacked or he did something wrong and ruin his reputation then admin can remove DT member from the system and if the DT-2 member did something wrong then DT member can remove them from the trust system.

Why would your trust be neutralized?   You did something untrustworthy.

I'm glad you admitted your mistake - hopefully you will move on and stop complaining about this.

If a DT member was hacked, they would be removed from DT.

Thanks for clarifying me with my concern, I appreciate your time.

Why would your trust be neutralized?   You did something untrustworthy.

I have asked for merit and its my mistake.  So, it makes me untrustworthy?  I have been punished for this and wearing this red tag of negative trust as scammer for a week now.  I apologize for that mistake, but didn't I deserve my trust to be neutralized?

I'm glad you admitted your mistake - hopefully you will move on and stop complaining about this.

Thanks you are glad for me admitting my mistake, but isn't my punishment be reversed also?  Is it fair me admitting my mistakes again and again and my punishment not be reversed?  And yes I want to move on, but this red tag following me in my every post tells me I am a scammer.  New members may make these kind of mistake, but for that one mistake I have to wear this red tag for rest of my life in BT?  It has been a week now.

Well, you spammed a DT member asking for merit, and you post here you admit your mistake, but the text under your avatar says you not a spammer.

Doesn't look like you have learned your lesson to me.  :/

Well, you spammed a DT member asking for merit.

You got a "red tag" for merit begging via PM... it even says so in the Trust comment left by OgNasty:
OgNasty   2018-07-12   0.00000000      Begging for merit in unsolicited PM.

I don't see how anyone can think this is for "spamming".
This thing confused me.  Don't know which one of you is true.  Huh Huh

I have honestly admit with public thread that it was mistake asking for merit.  Now you are saying I have to admit myself as a "spammer" too??  Okay, what it feels you I have learned my lesson?  If it was admitting my mistake and apologizing for asking merit is not enough and should also admit myself as a spammer too then I will never learn this lesson because my intention here is not spamming and to forcefully admit what you are not is "crime to self".  I would rather accept more negative trusts than to admit myself as spammer.... cheers.. have a nice weekend Smiley Smiley

Most likely just a difference of opinion on what constitutes "spam"...

I'm not a DT member like Vod, so I'm sure I don't get anywhere near the levels of unsolicited PMs that he does, which means that for me, if someone sends more than one when attempting to engage in a discussion on forum related business, then I'd be inclined to call it spam... or if it is obviously "spam" like trying to sell me something or promote a website or service etc. For Vod, perhaps his threshold is ANY unsolicited PM == spam?

I still stand by my comment that the reason for your negative trust is quite clearly explained in the comment... it was "Begging for merit in unsolicited PM".

You may not be a DT member but you've got that intelligence to outweigh some people in that position, I appreciate.  I would not say "outweigh that position" because that position is respectable and we should respect that position.
