Has anyone successfully gotten the Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P to work with 5 cards?

I'm about to buy one D;

3G R9-280X

Which have you noticed best temps on, and best to undervolt?

I have the Sapphire Dual X but haven't tried undervolting them. I want to get more cards this week, though.

280x Sapphire-OC Dual - X

280x Gigabyte-WF3

280x Gigabyte GV-R928XOC-3GD

XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB

From a personal experience, I will forever stay away from anything gigabyte related. I had issues with their 1155 boards which wouldnt run R9 290 cards, and recently their 1150 boards that wouldnt accept 4 280x cards. Do yourself a favor and get an Asus Z87A if you have a 1150 chip. Z87A Pro is also an option which has more PCI 1x ports.

Gud dang it.. well thanks for that.. I'll have to do some more thinking then..

I would get the AsRock H81 pro BTC board.. but every single god damn computer shop has sold out of them...

i might just get a 4 pci-e slot card then... like the H81- plus or whatever it was.. :/

edit: ASUS H81M-PLUS

The shitty thing is... the Asus Z87A is twice as expensive as the board im looking at . 200 instead of 100
