Yes after what happened with Gin with this shared masternodes service by Tiamo, it will be interesting to see if other masternode platforms can come up with a way where the people putting their coins into these shared masternodes services are safe from being stolen. GTM have done an amazing job so far and if they can come up with a way to fix this issue then they could potentially be the number #1 masternode platform in the world.

I would prefer to use one-click masternode services, rather than shared masternode services.
Of course, everyone have their choices, but I don't want to take risks too much by using shared masternode services from third parties.
It's interesting to see how GIN and Gentarium make adjustments and deal with risks of stolen coins from shared masternodes.

Yes I agree, this is something both platforms need to look into doing much better. I also don't really like to use shared masternodes but sometimes if the price is too high I have no choice but to use them if the coin isn't PoS, if it is PoS I normally just stake until I have enough coins to run a node. I still prefer GTM over gin right now as like I said GTM seems to have more upside and I really like what they have set out on their roadmap for the future.

there is only one crypto project that have solved the problem of hoiw to host shared master nodesin a  trust less way where you can cotrol your own pricvate keys and keep your collateral in your own cold wallet

I'm sure the dev are working on this solution, they haven't let the community down so far and have been working hard at developing and releasing new features so hopefully some time down the road they will also solve the shared masternode issues. For what they are released so far is a great achievement in just a short time, 2019 is set to be a great year for this project!

After that, I read the OP carefully, and known that Gentarium is only mineable coin via rigs, and masternodes, not for stakers.
Anyway, it's not too bad if I can not stake my coins, I will wait to take profits later.

Now I'm not 100% sure on this but you could check out the GTM platform and see if they have a shared GTM masternode service. Then you could earn some rewards and build to own a masternode which you can then run your self. This is a risk with shared masternode though as your not in control of your private keys but if you are happy to take the risk you could try it out if there is a shared masternode for GTM.

you could run a Gentarium node on EasyNodeCoin platform if you have enough collateral and they are testing shared masternodes now so very soon you could pool your coins with others to return the ROI of running a masternode - without having to 'trust' them with private keys

Yeah I have noticed this as well and keep forgetting to ask this question in the discord but I will now and see if the dev can get in contact with CMC so they can update the stats and add the circulating supply. We can easily check our self's by looking on the GTM explorer as that gives us the supply circulating but I don't think CMC needs to also show it as most people visit that site.

Gentarium has faster development pace, but it was released late.
Consequently, Gentarium has had smaller community than as of GINcoin.
However, over time, Gentarium can surpass GINcoin platform if the team can keep up their good works in the future (of course, I believe they will).

I have just set up a masternode on Gentarium platform. I think its extremely easy to setup masternode on Gentarium.

- Select masternode
- Select tariff (daily/monthly/quarterly)
- Deposit required coin to pay tariff (for me it was around 10 GTM paying off a GTM node for 4 months)
- Follow instructions: Transfer coins to your mn address, get gen key & tx, copy paste few times on few places and finally activate your node from your local wallet.

That easy!

Another masternode project Altbet has been listed on the Gentarium platform. As I have been saying for a while now, GTM continues to grow as a project and will only get stronger as the weeks go by. Its a shame that the GTM twitter account has been suspended for no reason at all, could it be the competition trying to bring GTM down because they are afraid that GTM could become the top masternode platform? I didn't see any reason why Twitter would suspend their account as everything looked fine to me.

I see that team information is available on their website but with no link to Linkedin yet. However, good news is Gentarium has recently become a registered company in the EU.

Another information I can share is setting up a masternode on their platform has no risk involved. You do not need to send the collateral or any private key to them, you keep all coins in your local wallet. They only need the masternode genkey and tx id, and with those information no one can steal your coins.

What happened with Gentarium during the last several days?
Why GTM price dropped from above 18k satoshi to around 13k satoshi currently?

Its hard to say what happened to the price the last few days but it does give people the opportunity to get in and buy a GTM node. I have seen this happen with a few projects where the price starts out high and then evens out over a period of time. GTM compared to the other masternode platforms is way undervalued in my opinion and does have a lot more upside to the price going up in the near future.
