GTM swap is now ongoing. Follow these steps (ANN from Gentarium discord):

Step 1 - Download Gentarium V2 wallet - https://github.com/genterium-project/gentarium-2.0/releases/tag/v2.0.0

Step 2 - Go to Receive Tab in new wallet and click on Request Payment - copy the address generated

Step 3 - Open the swap form - https://swap.gtmcoin.io/ - On the form, input your email address and paste the address generated from the new wallet. Complete Captcha and click submit.

Step 4 - An address is generated on the right hand side of swap form. Go to your old GTM wallet and send your balance to this address. Make sure to unlock coins in order to send balance.

Step 5 - Wait until 30th of Jan for swapped coins to be paid out to address generated from V2 wallet

Changing to POS + MN was a great decision , monday cant come fast enough

show me at least one good approach in any PoS interpretations - besides the fact that PoS is the compete opposite of brilliant PoW and just centralizing asset around holders with bigger bags - there was no good looking approach anyway. so walk me thro how is moving to PoS is a great decision?)

There won't be 51% attacks via PoW and a similar attack via PoS is a little more complicated especially since there are masternodes.

It does not provide more attack vectors , it is more complicated and harder to execute in connection with masternodes.

Gentarium is not aimed to fix the zerocoin protocol or to bring any disrupting code in the space, it is primarily focused on a service on their platform which it has been providing with success so far. I am pretty confident that they can take necessary steps to keep their blockchain healthy whenever its necessary and can follow suits accordingly.

Apart from security issues, I am a big fan of PoW because I believe that it gives an intrinsic value to the coin but apparently most PoW chains will switch to PoS over time anyway. Speaking about PoW, there are many other projects which primarily focus on PoW and technical advancement of blockchain, if you are a PoW enthusiast perhaps you can check out those. But if you were aware about what Genterium focuses on, you would know that GTM is pretty successful implementing that.

To me it is very nice to see the GTM started with a PoW and continued it for a while before switching to PoS now.

how is this related to the core development? i can point you towards countless 3rd party development around MN environment, but it will not reflect any actual state of core software that is the main platform for such development. again, so far core has empty repos.

I'm sure GTM will get back on its feet once the coin swap is over and then the exchanges can open up deposits and withdrawals again.

GTM host the most number of masternodes on their platform then any other and continues to grow weekly. It won't be long before we see 10,000 hosted nodes.

i didn't knew somebody applied ahah)) im staying away from MN services - they were 100% scam and started to charge for listing (!!!) at some point. so right now these services are collection of shady projects, since theres just a couple coins on MN proto that actually shows any development. for the same reason i doubt platform you mention could even list axe ahah) i know that some exchanges can not, just because they have to support old code base. so i hardly care about who's listing what

A reminder about GTM swap. Deadline is block 131750 (in less than 24 hours). All transactions after this block will be invalid. Don't forget about confirmation in chain, so send coins in advance. Coins in shared MN and on balances we will swap on our side, coins on exchanges will be swapped too.
To be sure, that coins are sent, check transaction tab in wallet. If wallet is stuck or on the wrong chain, follow these steps to resync:
