ETH vs BTC transaction speed. Who is better and faster?

It's not right the compare the ETH & the BTC transaction speeds.
They both have different infrastructure which is makes the difference already.
Maybe only you can compare when the network statistics are same. But it will be very hard to compare anyway.

I am always amaze every time I imagine how much power does Ethereum blockchain has when processing transaction for every tokens it supported. There are millions of transactions are being process every single day. Just do the math. Decentralized exchanges using ETH blockchain plus online wallets like MEW, Jaxx, coinomi, Eidoo, etc. I always have this feeling that ETH will become number 1 someday. Who is better for you? BTC blocktime is 10 minutes while ETH blocktime is only about 10-15 seconds
ETH upgrade (Plasma, Sharding, Casper...) in the near future will help ETH to handle millions of transactions per second. And, the payment will be almost INSTANTLY

Definitely ETH, ETH trading speed is much faster than BTC. Because 2.0 technology is completely different from the 1.0 technology

Actually, think about the trusted and most popular and used are the Bitcoin. However, talk about the faster and better coin, I think that Ethereum is the winner than the Bitcoin. I know that many people may against me. But, personally, I really experience that ETH is cheaper, faster, and easier to be used for transaction.

We can't say that certainly.

It is more dependent upon the network congestion. Many people would have replied that ETH is faster, that might be a case as for now. But if ETH starts hosting the transaction traffic as comparable to that of BItcoin, we will discuss the matter then. Recently, there was a ETH congestion due to some exchange. Th transaction fees were pretty high during that time and speed was quite slow. BTC transfers were pretty better than ETH then.

I think that cheaper is ethereum but sometimes the ethereum network has problems so shipping can happen slowly while the bitcoin network system still has the advantage so the price adjusts to the quality. if you still want to use eth you must always ask some people before you make a transaction using eth

Both ETH and BTC are fast when performing transactions... I think the speed of transaction depends on gas and fees..  The higher the gas the faster the transaction. The fact is just ETH is more cheaper than BTC.

ETH is cheaper in transaction than BTC . Therefore, ETH is more profitable . But it always depends on the situation on the market for a certain day - from this I start in what to transfer their money

Bitcoin is better for me in terms of value but usage ETH is good. My fastest transaction was confirmed for just 40 seconds and that's through ETH.

Bitcoin is also fast as it only takes few minutes.

Eth is faster for me and Btc is more stable in this case. I think both of them are good here but their common positions on the current cryptomarket are too bad.

There is no doubt that eth is much more faster and it is applicable in dapps.
A lot of alts based on erc-20 standard, but btc has longer history and it is truly decentralised.

Bitcoin never intended to be a platform for dapps. The comparison doesn't make sense. Bitcoin is a payment platform and it will be a good one.

There is no doubt that in case of eth transaction , transaction time and cost are much much lesser than btc transaction. But as I think only transaction time and cost does not create coins value. You have to always keep in mind that Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and creator of all. I had also a feeling that in far future maybe someday eth can be stronger than btc. But that is not in near future ( not in 1 or 2 decade).

ETH transaction speed is the best. But IMHO, all of the PoW coins, the transaction speed depends on how much the fee is. If the fee for transacts is higher, then the speed will increase.

Bitcoin's blocktime is set at 10 minutes, while Ethereum has a block every 10-20 seconds, making it much faster.So  bitcoin will probably never be able to match Ethereum transaction speed. Unless they would implement something like the lightning network.
