Is this Eric Valadez or Jason Squire?

To be honest, Jason Squire(or this man from picture) doesn't look like he is the same person as man from other pictures. Besides, their CO-Founders Michael Moyal and Marino Kulas have passed ICObench's KYC.

Eyebrows, face, hair, smile, teeth, eyes, ear missing, the position of the face, neckline, shoulder position, even bg colors are very similar.

Also using a Face recognition software they match, the software could be wrong (but never has been so far).- could be his twin brother!

One having lived their lengthy professional life in Texas, USA and one in Canada. Yes there is a resemblance. That does not mean some one was photo-shopped. Look at this from a logical standpoint. This is a team with a lot of known people in the entertainment industry, all with a lot to lose if they attached their name to a dishonest or deceptive project. This is a project that showed those Hollywood connections were real with it's introductory video starring Devon Bostick. This is also a project that spent 7 figures on acquiring multiple entertainment properties for it's Binge platform, putting some serious skin in the game to show it is very legitimate.

What's the motivation for photo-shopping a team picture? How would Slate benefit from this in any way, shape, or form?

This project has already spent millions of dollars to acquire content for it's Binge platform, and also signed on with the SITGES filmfestival for it's Slatix platform. Jason is not Robert Downey, nor is he an actor, an MMA star, a boxer or anything similar like that. He's not a brand name who can bring in money just by existing, so that logic does not follow. Erick's face is "heart' shape while Jason's face is "triangular/squarish" instead.

Different hairline and hair shape.

You're kidding, right? It's quite clear that they both have a different set of teeth.

We are not accusing SLATE.io of a scam -  Just to be clear.

We post in this section so the community can help us to identify certain cases and we can inform those who raised questions about your ICO.
These are the questions sent to us about SLATE.io

1 - Mr. Jason Squire vs Mr. Eric Valadez similarity.
2 - There is no Image of Mr Jason Squire on Linkedin profile– any reason?
3 - No validation of PLATFORM BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Team endorsing Slate.io found on Linkedin account provided by Slate.io
(there is 1 like there,  "like" is not an endorsement).

As you should be aware there are many scams in the market, and once valid questions are raised the best is clear them out to distinguish from the fake ICOs.  Also there are many fake Linkedin accounts. Links to accounts like this one from Mr. Bolotin is another thing that makes a possible investor afraid to put their money into an ICO.

We are not accusing SLATE.io of a scam -  Just to be clear.

I think you're on the wrong board, this should be moved to reputation, and move it back here once it's proven as scam.

I'm not supporting the team, nor against them. Facial recognition may sometimes be wrong, I have many doppelgangers, even my name is not unique.

But I'm monitoring and waiting for them to tweet a photo of any of their team members attending any blockchain summit.
