Wechain Network was built on the idea that privacy, company transparency, and data security should be the fundamental building blocks of every social platform. They believe that the millions those corporations are making off of your data doesn’t belong to them, it belongs to you.

Bitcointalk ANN: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4643409

Nick Cowan was listed on their Team as Managing Director, Mr.Cowan was currently CEO of Gibraltar Blockchain Exchain, and couple days ago their Tweeter (https://twitter.com/GibBlockEx) tweeted something like this :
"It has come to our attention that our CEO @NickCowanGSX has been added to a SCAM project’s website @WechainN. Neither Nick, nor anyone from GBX or @GibStockEx is involved in anyway with this project. Please share this message to make sure no one is defrauded by these fraudsters."
(Source: https://twitter.com/GibBlockEx/status/1018916240830713856)

Even their Founder, Faris Zacina (https://twitter.com/FarisZacina), tweeted this in the same day:
"That feeling when you discover that you are a "Founder and Chief Technical Operations" for a crypto project you have no idea about!
It's very sad that there are active SCAMS like this:
https://www.wechain.network/
Never invest in crypto projects that are not vetted! @WechainN @crypto"
(Source: https://twitter.com/FarisZacina/status/1018890679165046784)

We can not trust ICO when the team member, even their CEO deny their involvement. I have warned you, be careful on this project.

That's really deceiving and sad to know how the scansters are going on with scam on a whole another level. That's why I only participate in the certified ones, it's always good to be extra cautious. Nevertheless, I really appreciate your efforts for spreading the awareness to others.

Thank you for informing the users about such scamming projects. Given the details in the article, it does raise a lot of red flags. It's a shame that people abuse such an awesome platform like this to scam innocent people for their own selfish reasons.

One of the most discouraging elements in the world of crypto is scam. They manifest on the innocent and new people. As these type of people has little knowledge and fall for their traps. This article is helpful as it eliminates the chances of falling for scammers.

Active scams like this should be avoided, and verification is key to identifying all the fake news. Thanks for this insight.

It's very good that they found these scammers before they collect a lot of money from investors, if all the teams monitored on time, there would be less skam.

This is really irritating. Too much scams in the market. It is really hard to find out which ICO is legit or not. By the way thanks for sharing the news. We need to boycott this ICO.

When the Gibraltar Blockchain is releasing news regarding false claims about their MD and CEO being part of Wechain then that has to be a scam. They tried to increase their credibility by adding Mr.Cowan’s name to their website. Such a shameful act.

Scam projects are increasing day by day. We need to do something to stop it. I am really surprised that their CEO refuse their involvement about this scam project. Now a days we just can't trust any of the projects.
