The good news is, when BMW receives BTC as a payment instrument, it is certain that in the future there will be more large companies that will accept BTC as a payment instrument.

Remember that Bitcoin is still beta software. Don't put all of your money into BTC!

Big companies like BMW certainly accept Bitcoin as payment, and it is certain that they receive payments via other cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum and others because they certainly have an account on cryptocurrency exchangers... I really hope this is the green light for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies accepted by the world and used as one of the legitimate assets.

This may indicate that the future is already here! Every similar decision of any company helps to introduce bitcoin into our everyday life. That's cool!

Is that right? I think that will be good news and will increase the attractiveness of bitcoin. Because then bitcoin will become even more popular. And of course this will be a new direction for bitcoin to be even more potential and increase public enthusiasm. This is really good news.

If this is real news than it would be a great step for bitcoin and bring a lot of new volume into the market, besides other car manufacturers will probably follow. Just wondering why there seems no news about this.

I called a local dealer and they said they do not accept Bitcoin at this time.

You never know it can be just some higher up dealers.

I guess before you asked the local dealer of BMW at your place, you should have checked if they are accepting all over the world or in just some certain places or countries.

I've done a small search on it and found this post on twitter by Stephen James BMW, https://twitter.com/SJBMWGroup/status/1014887028746571777. I guess there are some authorized retailers that are accepting some transactions and not really all of them are doing that.

I think this is a good thing. Cryptocurrency is an alternative to cash, only in digital form, and can be fully used to perform monetary operations.

wow, the good news is that hopefully bitcoin is getting more up and growing. in my opinion BMW is a big giant and this decision for the benefit of both parties is equally beneficial for them. And I hope there will be more things received by bitcoin as payment even though in my country it will be difficult to accept it

This is uplifting news since this sort of enormous auto organization acknowledges bitcoin as installment so most likely we can state bitcoin later on replaces fiat cash and soon we will hear a portion of the greater and littler brands will acknowledge bitcoin so now it is clear later on . we will utilize advanced bitcoin money, which says bitcoin is a cheat and after that see what occurs in the coming years. What's more, this will likewise put BMW in front of the opposition on the grounds that the cryptographic money industry has such huge numbers of clients and they generally need channels that they can use for advanced cash without transforming it into fiat cash. This enables numerous individuals to maintain a strategic distance from numerous obstructions in numerous nations. This is a positive development by BMW.

This is the initiative of one dealer and as far as I understand, the cost in Bitcoin is not fixed and will be recalculated at the time of purchase.  Embarrassed
