Seems like permanent block which leads me a question - who own these 5BTC now? It's certainly not their (Poloniex) money so they can not keep it either.

Be happy be at peace. Looking forward to BTC at $1M

Can you elaborate what exactly happened? What did you do before you received a notice of locked account? (both temporary and permanent)

At any rate they should explain the why's. They can't just blurt out the outcome without explaining how did they arrived on it especially if they're promoting transparency lol.
Verifications aren't a one-time thing since those aren't manually checked; you should be able to try few more times so I'm quite baffled at "You cannot verify your identity".

If you know yourself you didn't do anything wrong, try this free consultation from the guys in charge of bitconnect class action: https://www.silvermillerlaw.com/

I feel sorry for you man! Did you try to submit an identity which was fake before? What is the source of your 5 BTC? Were the lying in your account over time or deposited them one time? The question that matters is: Do you belong to one of those countries where they don't offer services?

The explanation they provided is not sufficient and at this point, you should be able to file an online complaint or something.

Seems like permanent block which leads me a question - who own these 5BTC now? It's certainly not their (Poloniex) money so they can not keep it either.
Currently, it is stored in their hot/cold wallets so it's safe to assume money belongs to them. They aren't going to donate it to a charity if the case is not resolved anyway!

It will be resolved but may take some time.I have had similar issue with poloniex when withdrawing my dash from the exchange, it never came and there was not transaction ID, apparently my IPaddress changed when I was making the withrawal.I wrote to support,It was eventually resolved after about 3 weeks or so.

looking at your name I'm assuming you are an Arab , what kind of paper did you send to verify your identity ?? was it an Arabic ID cause they may not accept it
can't tell from just the screenshots you posted , like did the issue happen right after you sent the money ? and were you able to use poloniex in the past or was this your very first experience with them

I'm hoping they will pay you but the screenshot you provided isn't a good thing , they aren't even saying that you need to do X in order to get your money
hope you post more details and in case you are finding it hard to describe your issue in English just pm it to me in Arabic ( in case you are an Arab ) and I will post it for you

I had the worst experience as well with poloniex , waited over 2 months to receive my money after the froze my account as well
you can check it here , but they ended up paying me after all

Well, I know about how they will store and stuffs. My point was - if they can not find a valid owner then the Bitcoin should send back to the address where it came from and guess what they won't do that. Keeping 5 Bitcoin or any amount which is not actually their, is kind of taking advantage of the situation.

How would you explain it legally? I hope now you understand what I meant.

Be happy be at peace. Looking forward to BTC at $1M

That could be their secret business model. Don't give a resolution to the case thereby keeping the funds for as long s they want. I'm telling you, this is a million dollar business.

Speaking legally, bitcoin is not a real currency and hence there are no laws governing it. How can the above case be considered as a theft of money when there is no "legal" money involved here? Quite easy to get away with it.

so op pmed with the problem , he had to poloniex accounts that are verified and he created them 3 months ago
a few days ago his phone was " hacked " , so he froze the account to make sure that his money are safe
Then he entered the wrong back up key , and after that asked poloniex to reset it for him via ticket
but now they are refusing to open the account again even he sent them all the info they need from txs and pictures
